Fits my Smithfield Foods helmet and fits snug enough to cancel the whine of machinery cutting up hog meat but still allows me to hear voices when leaned in close. You won’t go wrong getting you a set of these muffs and it’s way better than shoving a plug in your ear that starts hurting eventually. I’m pleased all the way with these especially the price!

**Q: Do they attach to the inside of the hard hat where the rigging would attach?**
A: These cap mounted ear muffs attach to a cap-style hardhat (H-700 series) on the outside (universal slot).  Contact the 3M Techline at 800-243-4630 with any questions.

**Q: Do you have to screw these into the hard hat? Buying for someone so not sure how they work. Thanks.**
A: The 3M Peltor Optime 95, H6P3E/V fits most standard size slotted hard hats. No additional hardware (screws) is required to secure the earmuff.
