Its just the right weight and sturdy without being too big and bulky. It has kinda turned into a backup collar though because its a lot looser than I like it to be. The padlock, however, I use with my everyday collar and I love it but it did tarnish on the back after awhile. The spot has stayed a small circle, just right where it rests on the back of my neck. Keep in mind: I wear it 24/7, 365, even in the shower, so I'm impressed the tarnish hasn't spread. LOVE that it comes with 2 keys now and the pouch is great too! And that they were made in Atlanta.We went on an anniversary trip there and we love the city.The leather collar is in great shape.However, this one has a double link chain, and in the middle one, a link is missing which causes it to lay weirdly and look off.Also, one of the key's is slightly longer and doesn't work with the lock.We are waiting to hear back from the seller.---EDIT---The seller had no problem replacing my item and it was quick shipping!
