The AREA 419 CZ457 Scope Base is a CNC-machined, single-piece T7075 aluminum rail featuring a 30MOA cant designed for pushing .22LR rifles beyond 300 yards. Its extended front real estate allows forward optic placement, improving eye relief on higher-powered scopes. The base adds approximately 1/2" height to the dovetail but supports low-profile mounts to maintain a solid cheek weld. Finished with Type III black hardcoat anodizing, it includes all necessary hardware and a T10 Torx key, ensuring a secure, consistent 22 in/lb torque clamp for rock-solid optic stability.

AREA 419 CZ457 Scope Base
This is a very good scope base for the CZ457. It fit firmly in the rifle grooves, I did not have to force it on with any tools. The torque values (22 inch/lbs) is printed right on the packaging for the four screws. The product is Made in the USA. Don't make the mistake I made and purchase the Chinese junk first. The KPY rail was so loose in the rifle grooves that I didn't even try to tighten the screws. (Also they did not supply any torque values). If you over tighten the screws you could damage the aluminum threads in the rail very easily. I did a return on the Chinese rail and ordered this one.

Very well made, sturdy rail.
I originally purchased a competing scope mount for my CZ457, but after a bit of use, I found that itโs use of set screws was not very stable. The set screws were too small to tighten properly, so the mount was not rigid. I replaced that mount with this one and am pleased. Initially, I did not buy this mount because ugh the additional height would not be good. I found that I had to use medium rings for the scope to clear the barrel on the other mount, but can use low rings with this one, so there really is no difference in scope height. Highly recommended.
