Step-by-Step Medical Coding, 2014 Edition

The best way to learn medical coding has been with this book. It is a clearly written text with room to write on the pages as you practice the skills with work problems. The exercises help you hone your new skills. I am using it in conjunction with an online class venue and really like what I am learning.

I have only read a few chapters but I love step by step method of writing. The book is written in a clear and concise style, making it easy for a newbie to understand. The book provides a good introduction medical coding. I highly recommend it.

The Medical Coding Book 2014 Has a lot of information easy to read and study big letters and pictures also the book has a answer key to look back at the right answer to answer the question in each chapters.

Love this book full of information!! If you want to enhance your learning while in school I recommend this book get it now and get it soon preferably before you start your coding class so you can already have it!!!!! Very heavy and nice you gotta sit down and take your time to read it over and over again!!!!! Great for passing your CCS exam!!!

Wonderful book. Have been out of coding since 1998,and am doing a refresher for ICD-9 CM. Medical Record Technology school--altho. the best--did NOT teach us coding! Clinical practice experiences were less than helpful! We learned on the job in the1980s and 90s with those killer DRGs, and it was sink or swim! Wish I'd had such resources then! I'd never even heard of CPT before my 3rd and 4th jobs (in hospitals). I am also learning ICD-10, starting here. Thanks a million, tho. Seller! And authors! You are all terrific! I had to purchase the text as part of a medical billing and coding course which I recently completed. I didn't feel that the explanations were always well-organized and presented succinctly. I was considering the field as a possible second career.

This book is a very good read. I use it for my CPT coding class and its very detailed, and comprehensive. It also has exercises and quick check questions to help you along with learning to code. The book came in great condition.

Love this book. I have used this book with teaching other how to code and bill for physicians. It is a must have book. Can use the book to teach yourself how to code and bill.
