This is for an Aprilaire setup and mine had the frame installed in the 201 housing. **Q: Is this the pleated filter which goes inside the housing, the plastic housing or both?** A: This is the pleated paper filter. You have to snap the housing apart to remove the old one. You'll want to clean the housing anyway to get all the dust in the crevices. I wash mine in the sink with dish soap.
