Beautiful pen, comfortable, solid and feels good in the hand and moves smoothly for cursive writing. Comparable to very high-end writing instruments but significantly less expensive. Excellent value.

While the 'performance' of the pen is much left to the ink insert this pen is very well made. There is a positive 'click' that ensures the cap is securely in place. The included ink inserts are pretty nice as well. I haven't used 'Schneider' Topball 850 before but they write pleasantly well. Speaking to the physical structure the all metal construction and tapered end are not too thin or too aggressive of a chamfer to make holding the pen frustrating. In the past some metal pens were too thin or tapered down too aggressively making them difficult to hold using my preferred style. This pen seems to be shaped in such a way with the writer in mind. Bang for the buck and physical styling coupled with rock solid construction, this is a nice addition to my daily planner / work portfolio.

Very nice pen. I do like that is has a little bit of weight to it but not to heavy. It’s nice to write with. Very smooth. The pen itself looks very nice.

This pen is no slouch when it comes to writing comfort and smooth ink flow; no smudges here at all. I love pens with a great color pattern on them too though. The color of the pen is a flat grey without any sheen to it. A smoke grey with some color effects would have worked better. It’s a great pen and writes very well. It comes with an extra refill which is great. I give it five stars but the color in my hand is what doesn’t work. I love a gorgeous ink pen!

This is a really nice pen. It's heavier, which I really like. I'd say the quality rivals far more expensive pens. The balance is spot on and there is a great shape to it. It's comfortable to write with and looks great. They also put a quality ink cartridge in it which says something about the attention to detail and is consistent with the whole product. I'm impressed with this pen, especially considering the low cost.

I use this for work daily, and it’s decent. The cap snaps over the point in a very satisfying way, but it does rattle a bit, which is rather annoying to me. For this reason (and another I’ll mention in a moment) I don’t believe this would make an ideal gift I wouldn’t give this particular pen as a gift to someone else, but it was adequate for me personally. The other issue I encountered was one of the two ink refills I received was faulty/dried at the tip (you receive a blue ink refill already in the pen and a black refill on the side). All in all, some issues, but this is a solid 3 out of 5 pen. I’m pleased with it, it writes. Wish I had a little better fitting cap and a working black ink, but c’est la vie.

Bought as a gift. He likes it. I wouldn’t use it because I have smaller hands.
