I preferred the quality and feel of this towel. It dries my hair pretty fast and when scrunching for curls, it allows for less frizz. Before this purchase I had designated a few of my microfiber cleaning towels to the job. I loved how the microfiber pulled out water and didn't cause frizz but I wished they were bigger. I compared this to the DivaCurl towel and took a few days to decide. But I'm so glad I purchased this one. The size is fantastic for plopping my hair and the material is super soft and absorbent. If you've got shoulder length hair you could use it as a turban or plop but if your hair is longer it may be best for plopping. This polyester garbage is actually less absorbant than a terry cloth towel. Came in weird cheap packaging and looks like a shammy used at the car wash.
