While a little daunting at first, once the rules for turn progression are understood the game is fairly straightforward. The perception of a difficult learning curve is worse than the learning curve itself. After playing a trial round with friends, the game became second nature and extremely fun. The adaptation of the Talisman game style works wonderfully with the game and franchise its based on. Easily one of my top ten board games now. Lastly, need I mention the game itself is gorgeous looking? Seldom have I ever seen such stylistic portrayals of a franchise that is so close to the original material, and cares to make every aspect of the game feel integrated into its own miniature universe. One could practically frame the board, cards, etc. and have a fine piece of artwork.

While at first the game seems to be a bit complicated it’s actually pretty easy to learn, it incorporates all aspects of the games (with some liberties taken) but mostly focuses on the first installment, tons of fun even for people who don’t know anything about the games!

This game is amazing, just fantastic. I got it for my bestie for Xmas and we finally got around to playing it yesterday. It is so fun. It took us about a half hour to figure out how to play, but I wouldn't say it's nessiarily hard to learn. I almost see it as a cross between MTG and a board game. Oh I gotta mention, it feels like you're playing kingdom hearts the video game at points. This is EXTREMELY well made and thought out. Anyone who is a fan of KH or complicated board games....this is what you need in your life, trust me. Do yourself a favor, and introduce this game to your friend group. You won't regret it.

Such a great game! I have never played Talisman before and so I thought this might be really complicated to learn to play. While there are a lot of elements to gameplay, I found that the instructions make it relatively easy to start to get the hang of it! Once you start playing, it all starts to make sense. It is so much fun to play and the board is beautiful! It also shipped quickly which I appreciated. All pieces came and were not broken! It is a bit of an investment, but absolutely worth it! It is very fun!

My husband bought this for me because I love Disney and I love Final Fantasy...Kingdom Hearts is in that list because it merged both of those things! I love the look of the game and think it's a fairly fun game. My only issue is my husband had to fix one of the figures (Donald Duck) because his wand was broken. A little super glue worked, but I expect (with everything I buy) to not have any broken pieces when I receive it.

Not sure what else to say about this. It takes such a long time to play, difficult to learn. I’ve never played another version of Talisman before, but I’m sure this would have been easier to play if I had. I bought this game for my wife who LOVES Kingdom Hearts. It doesn’t bring the joy of the story, nor is it as interactive as one would hope.

Box came new all pieces where there however the figures used as game pieces have thin flimsy ends and they sit loosely with the box auqa keyblade was a bit bent but I was able to strengthen it back out every thing else was perfect I may take the time to paint these in the future if I have time however I will be looking for some way to store each figure safely in the box

The game is very well packaged. Our game box got punchered during shipping and all the pieces were there and in good shape! The game takes a little bit of time to learn, but I like that there are a few ways to play it. You can even add you own twists to things similar to D&D or you can just play by the rules in the manual. My favorite aspect of this game is you can play it with just 2 people or up to six people! Before covid 19 we would have game nights with friends, but now we can't obviously. It's nice having a board game just my husband and I can play.
