Great American truss tool for not so much cash.
This is one of very few ratcheting podgers in 15/16" for american truss bolts. It works! Black and one-piece, this truss tool is the perfect back-up to keep in the kit when your supplier doesn't send tools with their truss. The flippy-switchy thing does it's thing just fine and I haven't broken the geary-spinny thing yet. The stabby-pointy bit aligns holes well, and the coating disallows sticking. This tool works as one would expect a perfect podger to work. Since the price is set for this thing to be crappy, but it's not, five stars and a stellar review. Also, there are no shows... So i have the time....

Pretty solid.
Works well enough but you can feel a bit of play in the wratchet mechanism. The socket lengths are also a bit short for truss bolts, but that is dependent on the weld plates and design.

Good Spud Wrench
This is great for assembling theatrical truss. My one complaint is that the metal of the spike is a little soft so it gets dings and dents pretty easily. I have moved and alligned large truss structures with this and used it lift 200lb steel plates. The ratchet works well and has deep sockets.

Great value, durable
Who care of the finish is damaged in use? Some reviewers are commenting on inconsequential things. It's a wrench. I used it for 19 and 24mm flange bolts and to align the flanges for pneumatic valves at work. It's perfect.
