Dandy by William Armes, Kilkis Washable Kitchen Mat Non Slip Mat, Silver, 100 x 67

I was really pleased with this mat which at 100 x 67 cms is a generous size for wider doorways or for in front of a kitchen sink. The brown colour scheme is a mid-brown rather than dark brown colour, which is very practical. The edges were carefully finished with no trailing threads. It's not so pale as to show marks easily, and not so dark as to show every scrap of fluff up easily or to make a small space look gloomy. The woven loop is soft enough to be comfortable, but doesn't shed any fibres like conventionally woven rugs, the latex backing makes it suitable for hard surfaces like vinyl or laminate. This size will fit fairly easily into a washing machine for washing at 30 degrees, followed by line drying. Very good value, well - made in the UK and a worthwhile buy. Update: Since this review was written I've washed the mat several times in my 7kg capacity washing machine. The few marks visible washed out and the mat still looks as good as new. It dried really quickly on the washing line; it didn't retain as much water as expected.

Delighted with this rug. Arrived really promptly and well packaged. It is great quality, sturdy and very attractive. It arrived rolled for transport as all rugs do but unlike other rugs this one behaved impeccably and lay flat right away! No curled edges or waiting for it to settle. It has a non slip backing which is fantastic as I am using it in my kitchen over ceramic tiles and it stays put! A lovely well made and very serviceable rug!

I like it, but would not call this colour "brown" (my colour as shown, but ordered "brown"). It also "walks" a lot around the floor, hence i am constantly using a dust pan and brush to clean between the walking mat and the food that has fallen from the work tops in to the gap! I purchased a roll of non slip "rug on carpet", but that has made no difference either. It is good quality and washable, but if it doesn't catch the bits, then it won't be washed!

I've bought half a dozen of these mats and they're perfect for kitchens and porches - where muddy boots and paws tramp in and out. They last really well, are non slip and wash and dry easily. Good choice of colours too

I originally wanted it to go into the space in front of my balcony doo, it would have fitted if I didn't have a cabinet to the left, so I just laid it down longways instead but it's a nice mat and good value for money. Matched my carper perfectly.

Great size and looks as good as new after being in the washing machine

When we bought a second hand motorhome, the original carpets were really grotty and we didn't want to use them. Fortunately we found these runners/rugs on Amazon and not only are they machine washable (handy when your dogs holiday with you) but they are the perfect width and length for the motorhome floor. We bought this 180cm one as well as the 100cm one. They're lovely to walk on compared to the vinyl flooring, don't move about on the floor and when we come back from a trip, they just go straight in the wash. I don't know how much it would have cost us to have bespoke carpets made for our little home on wheels but I'm so pleased with these that I haven't given it a second thought. I'm now going to buy a second set to store away for the future, just in case.

Lovely, tough looking rug. Just what ai needed for under the art/craft desk and for cats to scratch. Not sure it will fit in our washing machine, as quite stiff and sturdy, but might go in a laundrette machine if needed.
