Foyle’s War is a wonderful TV serie intelligent and beautifully made. I searched a long time to find it, and the DVDs are excellent quality. Very pleased with this purchase!

Foyles War
Excellent series. Slow moving, but gets there in the end. Captures the atmosphere of the time. A series I would watch over and over again.

High Quality WW2 Home-front Series
I had only previously seen bits of Foyles Law on TV re-runs but recently saw a complete episode. So I decided to buy the whole series. Having watched 4 episodes, I can only say that I am delighted with this purchase. The stories are carefully crafted and unrushed, the casting of the 3 main characters is nigh-on perfect and the production values are top-notch. This set is of superb value - in effect, 28 feature-length films. The 'economy packaging' is fine by me and the set takes up very little bookshelf space. The setting, on the UK home front in WW2, is just up my street, having been born just 3 years after the war ended. One minor criticism is that the sub-titles are auto-generated, with reasonably frequent mistakes, but I can live with that. Overall, highly recommended viewing for people of my generation or for anyone interested in the history of that period.

Sizzling, romantic and thrilling! This book has everything and more!
I absolutely adored this book! It had everything that makes a romance book worth reading! Evie is such a strong female character and her personality jumps off the page! She is strong-willed, sarcastic, hilarious and completely relatable! Throughout the course of the book, she faces many difficult things and overcomes them all in a spectacular fashion! I absolutely loved her! As for Nathan, where can I buy one? He was an amazing male lead! He was smart, funny, passionate and not without faults. It was so refreshing to read about a character facing real life problems, situations and owning up to his mistakes! I have to say, I think he was the perfect man and so, so enjoyable to read about! I also adored the way he was with Evie! Together, their chemistry was beyond limits! From their very first scene together, they romance didn't stop! The Instant connection between them and their sexual chemistry was everything! Songs and sonnets could be written about these two and their forbidden love! It was beautiful to read! The writing in this book is flawless! This author is definitely one to keep up with! Their writing is refreshing in so many ways! It's witty, smart, and flows off the page! I think I've found a new favorite author and am waiting (im)patiently for their next novel to see what happens next with Evie and Nathan!! And as an added bonus, this book is gorgeous and looks SO good on my shelf! I. LOVED. IT!!

Une série anglaise sur la période de la seconde guerre mondiale et sur le début de la période de la guerre froide. Les acteurs sont excellents, les épisodes bien construits, les intrigues bien faites et une touche d'humour en prime. A déguster sans modération!
