I recently (within the past few months) jumped on the "no-poo" bandwagon. I went about two months with only using baking soda and vinegar on my hair and went through a quite horrible detox period with my hair. Once I was pretty satisfied that my hair was where it needed to be I decided to go on the hunt for a good shampoo and conditioner that wouldn't take my hair back to the damaged, oily wreck it used to be and wouldn't pollute the earth. In comes Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat (both shampoo and conditioner). After an extensive search for a good and not over-priced product, I landed on this. I looked up every ingredient and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did! Here is why: 1) it smells amazing without having an overpowering perfume-like scent. 2) I don't have to use much, I just rub it in my hands a little before putting it on my hair and I get a satisfying lather out of it. 3) it leaves my hair feeling amazingly clean without leaving that heavy residue feeling afterward. After starting out with the smaller bottle I love buying these sizes of the triple treat shampoo and conditioner now. Update: I still use this shampoo and seriously can't bring myself to buy anything else. In fact, my whole family actually uses this shampoo and conditioner now. My husband had very bad dandruff issues, and since this shampoo doesn't smell girly, I suggested that he try it to see if it helps. Well, it did! He rarely has any issues with dandruff now. Then, after an unpleasant surprise of lice when going to cut my son's hair one time and looking up ways to get rid of lice, I came across several things that said that tea tree oil will help repel lice, which explained why my husband and I didn't get lice. He has been using it since and has no more issues with lice! So, added pros: - Helps with dandruff - Helps repel lice! - Great for the whole family

I fell in love with this stuff when they had it at Costco one year. And it lasted a really long time based since I only use half a pump. I have a shaved head, but still like to shampoo my little stubs of hair. Don't judge. And, of course, they stopped selling it long before I finished the bottle. So naturally, I looked towards Amazon to fulfill my needs. I got it at a stellar price shipped to me immediately. Awesome. On to the shampoo experience: This is the only stuff that awakens my scalp and gives it a fresh clean feeling. No matter if I just played a game of basketball or if I just woke up, it never fails to return my head to a state of happy. I love the invigoration of the Tea Tree and Eucalyptus scents. There's a slight coolness to your head after getting out of the shower. I never feel like there is anything left over except for the essential oils. I use it at least once daily and up to 3 times a day and my scalp does not feel dry ever.

This doesn't go against my intolerance. It doesn't have a lot of fruit and is a good value for the money. The fragrance is pleasing. My hair is soft when I use it. It keeps the moisture in my hair and doesn't ride out. My hair smells clean.

I have been using Giovanni products ( shampoo and conditioner ) for years. I particularly like the triple tee tea. It helps with the irritation on my scalp without drying my hair. Even without conditioner. I have wavy,curly hair. That alone makes my hair feel dryer. They also have the 50/50 balance which I use occasionally. It’s too is a good shampoo. All in all Giovanni makes very good products. Check them out I do not think you will be disappointed. The value of the 33.8 oz bottle to me is a bargain.

I have brunette medium length hair that is very oily. I sometimes use dry shampoo that can irritate my scalp. I was pouring diluted ACV on my scalp overnight after light rinsing and using ACV shampoos when I could pay the pretty penny for them until I looked for a different alternative. My natural hair grew out and my hair was oily just from sleeping on it on a daily basis. I combated dandruff and felt disappointed. Usually I need to bleach my hair for some relief. I ordered this product believing the brand and reviews were positive and trustworthy! On my first order, the bottle exploded and was cancelled on the way to me. I received the second order a while later while my scalp was really in pain. I started using it every day for a week by leaving it on my hair for 20 mins, and massaging it with the scalp massager it comes with (thank god!!). After 5 days, I used it every 2-3 days due to the tingling effect. I traded it with vegan, non scented shampoos and argan oil shampoos. My hair is sometimes still oily after I sleep but much cleaner, healthier and more manageable. I think it's expensive and the avocado oil may not be the best for my hair type. I feel my hair still has a bit too much moisture. I apply products like Biotin and Keratin sprays in my hair and feel generally content with my hair but not where I expected to be. I thought this was a miracle product but I feel it should come in a bundle at this price or with more specific instructions on managing the levels of moisture for your scalp type. I also don't understand the dot system on the packaging, I thought this was for dry, flaky scalp yet it's not in the rescue stage. I think it's luxurious and I always enjoy using it but if you're really having issues you would need to mix this with an organic one or consider it a conditioning, temporary treatment. Hopefully over months, it would work better! I want to order this line but not sure if I can justify the price anymore. The feeling of relief is immediate, but it's not a miracle fix!

What can I say, I love this shampoo! Cleans and clarifies without drying out. My husband uses this for dry scalp (he used to use Tom's of Maine dry scalp shampoo, but they discontinued, and he really doesn't like harsh drugstore "dandruff" shampoos for dry skin issues). I have normal to oily hair, and this works great for me too. Love the pump format. Not very many quality shampoos are sold as pump bottles, so I really appreciate that Giovanni does this! (And, yeah, it smells good. :-) Five stars, definitely.

We all use this shampoo in my house. It is great on all hair types and definitely strips all the product residue out of your hair. It works great on my hair right before I color it since it leaves my hair so clean. The shampoo tingles the scalp at first, and I would suggest not using it on any broken skin because it might burn. It is also great for oily scalp/dry hair combo. I used this on my little ones hair to avoid lice as they don't like tea tree oil. Great product overall!

I’ve been using this shampoo for about 3 years and haven’t put it down yet. My girls and I have type 4 thick hair and it never leaves our hair stripped of moisture. This shampoo is also soothing to my scalp. I get excited about wash days because I know my scalp will get a big treat!

I had been looking for something to use on dandruff and colour-treated hair and then I found this. I'm on my 2nd bottle now and this stuff is absolutely amazing! Each time I shampoo my hair, I get a refreshing sensation (or tingly as the description indicates) that lets me know when my scalp is clean. I believe this because if I use hair spray or leave-in conditioners my hair is more oily, and it takes a little bit longer to feel that sensation on my scalp. This leads me to the conclusion that the shampoo is breaking down the hair products which is why it takes longer when my hair is dirtier. So instead of using shampoo and immediately rinsing it out, I'll let it sit for a minute or however long it takes, before washing it out. It is definitely not fun to get near or on your eyes, let alone in your eyes, so make sure to avoid that!

Refreshing and tingly for the scalp. This seems to last forever lol !. Very clarifying.
