HELIFOUNER 24 Pieces Toggle Bolt and Wing Nut for Hanging Heavy Items on Drywall - 1/8 Inch, 3/16Inch, 1/4Inch

My friend fell in the bathroom and grabbed the towel rack on her way down. The towel rack was secured to just the drywall. So, you can imagine how the drywall was totally damaged where the towel rack was secured to the wall. Yes, 4 big holes where the drywall screws were completely ripped out. I was not quite sure how the grab bar would be installed, but I knew that it would need the toggle screw set to do the job. I searched and found this set that was perfect for the job. I just attached the grab bar to the wall, using a 1 x 4 piece of wood, glued to the wall with liquid nails. It worked out perfect for us. The grab bar is tightly secured to the wall and we are so pleased with the result.

Great for drywall

I primarily use the 1/8 inch toggle bolt and wing nut to support my bathroom towel bars, towel rings, and wall coat rack that are anchored into my drywall. The toggle bolt and nut option is hands down, the best anchoring system for anchoring wall mounted items. I was previously using the plastic dry wall anchors (which are crap), and then the self drilling toggle anchors. The items I mounted starting coming loose. My toddler ended up ripping a towel ring out of the wall which was mounted by the self drilling toggle anchor. I use the 1/8 inch because it requires the smallest hole out of the others. It's still a big hole that I have to pre-drill, but I feel assured that I won't have to mess with re-anchoring items again. FYI, you'll need to drill a 3/8" hole for the 1/8' wing nut. The 1/8 inch wing nut felt a bit flimsy, so I ended up buying a set of 1/8 inch only from the Hillman Group (also available on Amazon). The Hillman Group feels like it's better quality, though this Helifouner version works fine and you get different size options to test out what best fits your needs. I was not sure what size I needed. This set allowed me to have options and avoid returning something that wouldn't fit. This has gotten the job done and my repair is still holding up. Good hardware!

I have had such a hard time finding fasteners that won’t just fall out of the wall. These work awesome for heavier items! I can be tricky to get it in and guess the pilot hole size. It takes a very large hole to start it. Will be buying more.

Sturdy, good quality The screws are exceptionally long. See picture they don’t need to be much longer than the length of the closed toggle. Extra work to tighten them. There is a size listed on each one for the size of the screw. It would be helpful if they listed the size of the hole you need to drill. They come in a cardboard box. You need to find your own storage

Missing 2 pieces. Poor steel strength but did the job….for now

I've found these type of drywall hangers to be very easy to install and due to their large gripping width once expanded inside the wall, they should be much more reliable than other types. The downside is that should you remove the screw, the wing nut will probably disappear down the inside of the wall (but you can always put in another one in the same hoe). This product is a decent implementation of the concept.

Did NOT realize was [urchasing a LONG BOLT instead of a basic wall screw & anchor system ...so LONG are completely unusable in any of my aprtment walls. Amazon provided me a full refund for my error. THANK YOU for helping to save me from my oversight!! Product is well-made & very sturdy ... GREAT for those who really DO need something so massive!!

A few extra dollars for these wall anchors, but it saves me a trip to the hardware store. There are enough pieces for many projects, with a range of sizes for different needs. The quality of the fasteners is enough to make them very useful.
