Good sound and comfortable. Worth the money.
Pretty decent. I bought two of these, one for each of my daughters. Overall they're pretty nice. The sound is good, they're a little smaller and seem to fit my 2 and 3 year old comfortably enough. Both girls like the colors (I bought a pink and purple one.) The material around the ears and the headband seem to be good quality and are soft. It pairs very easily with an iPad and there's a decent amount of feedback with the single LED on the headphones to tell you what mode it's in. What I didn't like about the headphones was cheap feel of the volume switch and the micro usb connector. I'm not sure if it's the connector or the cable that came with the headphones, but they just don't seem to fit together like all my other micro usb devices. It seems a little harder to plug in and flimsy. You have too much leverage and it would be very easy to pull what looks like a surface-mount micro usb connector right off the circuit board. The rocker switch for the volume seems flimsy, too. Like cheap components were used on the circuit boards of the headphones. The shell that surrounds the speakers seems like it could be a little thicker or more solid considering these are expected to take some abuse by kids. I was disappointed by was the volume limiting, too. It says they're limited at a certain decibel (I don't recall at the moment what that number was), but the limit was greater than the decibel limit where hearing is damaged which makes no sense to me. Also, there's no charger in the box. In my case I had a bunch laying around, but for $50 they could at least add it to the package. One of the really great features I do like is the manual cable in case the batteries die although kids can break the small plug pretty quickly with a little abuse. I'd have to think hard before buying these again. They're of good enough quality to me to consider them again but they're pretty pricey when you end up having to buy two of them at a time. If I could make changes to these headphones, I'd suggest they secure the micro usb connector better, beef up the shell around the speakers and find some way of limiting the max volume and locking it at the headphone. It's just too easy to crank these things up and no way to tell when it's on my kid's head how loud it is. *** Update 08/23/2015 *** After having some time to play around with these and really look at the spots I felt were trouble, I've come to the conclusion that the issue with the micro USB adapter is the cable and not the plug in the earphones. The plug is locked fairly solidly by the cover that surrounds the electronics so I don't think that will be an issue. I also got some information about db and what constitutes a dangerous sound level. From the information I found, the db limit on these headphones is well within the range that would protect my daughters' ears and the length of exposure to sound is a main factor in damage. This was my main concern with these headphones and it's not anymore. As far as durability goes, these things have been dropped, walked on and dragged around for a while now and have stood up without an issue. I don't think the shell will be an issue. I can comfortably say I'd recommend these for kids. They're grown-up quality in a small package.

LilGadgets for your Lil Ones!!
I looked at several kids headphones on Amazon, but LilGadgets' reviews impressed me as well as the reviewers photos. We were headed for 3 three hour drive for the Labor Weekend and I didn't want hear my boys' movies on their Kindle Fire Hd's. Yes there are cheaper kid headphones, but the quality will not be the same. I went ahead an ordered a black and a blue LilGadgets headphones. When the headphones arrived, they were already charged. The headphones are very stylish (not cartoon characters) and look just as adult headphones. The headphones are very soft, supple leather and are adjustable. These headphones fits perfectly on my sons ( ages 5 & 3) heads comfortably. Included with the lil gadgets is a satin bag for the headphones, charger cable, a cord to plug the headphones into a device, thank you card from Lilgadgets and it is bluetooth! I keep the headphones in the bag when not in use. I was totally impressed when I open the very cute box of Lilgadgets headphones! I linked the headphones to the Kindle Fire HD's, my iPhone, and ipad flawlessly! When I push the button on the headphones, the light flashes blue which means it is powered on. Press the button again and the light flashes red, which means it is off. To pair the bluetooth to a Bluetooth capable device, press & hold the button. I rarely have my sons use these headphones with the cord because (Bluetooth is Awesome) the the battery lasts a long time. (Sometimes my 5 year old forgets to turn his headphones.). The sound quality is superb! I always make sure the the volume on the device being used is not too loud. I always put the LiLGadgets up to my ear to make sure the volume is perfect for my boys.). My sons don't have music on their Kindle Fire's, so I turn the Bluetooth off on their Kindle and pair it with my iPad. It makes me happy because I don't have to listen to Mickey Mouse "Hot Dog" over over again (gotta love 3 year olds!). I have attached the headphones via cord to our computer, when my 5 year old does his online learning. He thinks it cool, but I feel that the heaphones help keep him focus without this younger brother distracting his learning. LilGadgets has developed an amazing product! Having Bluetooth on a child's priduct is Genius and a life saver! I am a Techie and I want the same quality products that I have for myself for my kids. I love simple, stylish, functional products. LilGadgets headphones are the best on the market! I recommend LilGadgets for our Lil ones!

Excellent Headphones for Special Needs Children.
My son uses the headphones every day. I have tried them myself, and as a woman, I want to let adults know that they fit the kids as they should but they are uncomfortable for me. In all fairness to the manufacturer, they state they are made for children and I concur. Some of the other reviews mentioned their fitting adults fine. I highly recommend you don't buy these for yourself unless you have a very small child-size head. They are very nice headphones, the loudness is an acceptable range and I won't worry about their being too loud. Easy wireless hand controls but I did have to go on the website to figure out the Bluetooth "connection". instructions were not included how to do this. This is the the only reason for the lower than perfect score. Not too big a deal because I found it easy enough but instructions would have been nice. I did have to charge them although the package said they were precharged, but this was no problem since I anticipated having to charge. The first charge was several hours I did at night. I highly recommend this product. It has all the features described. You and your child will be pleased unless you want blaring audio. I do not want my child exposed to high decibels. The price is very fair. They are of quality construction that did surprise me. The color choices are great. I let my son pick his own color before I bought. The company website it great to see the available colors. I got them within 2-3 business days at no extra cost. Shipping is free from Amazon. I should mention my son is autistic and he uses the cord. He has yet to understand the meaning of wireless. This is the reason I tried them on myself wirelessly. When the time is right, I will show him that he doesn't need the cord, but the cord capability was the deciding factor for buying these headphones. I couldn't be sure he would accept using them without a cord and he didn't like the idea. I think he will be pleasantly surprised when he discovers a cable isn't necessary after I model them a few more times and show him there is sound without wire.

Perfect Headphones for Kids — Durable, Bluetooth, and Share-Friendly
This is our third pair of these headphones—we now have one for each of our kids. They've held up really well through several road trips, and the kids even love using them at home with their Yoto player. The best features by far are the Bluetooth connectivity and the share ports. It’s incredibly easy to link them all together so the kids can listen to the same audiobook or music on drives. No complaints, no tangles, and everyone’s happy. Great sound, solid durability, and parent-approved. Highly recommend!

Great Quality Product- my 3 year old loves!
I dont usually write reviews, but I just came back from a trip to the Cayman Islands and bought these earphones in blue for the plane ride for my 3 year old son. I am extremely happy with this product. They arrived promptly in the mail and on time for our family vacation. The best thing about this product is the comfort - the earpads themselves are made very well and stays on my son's head. There is good cushioning on the top band of the headphones which was very important because it keeps it sturdy and in place so my son did not fuss with them the "entire" flight. I was a little nervous about figuring out the bluetooth functionality since I am not that great with technology, but the instructions and set up was pretty easy. Once we got that hooked up, I was even more impressed. There were no wires to deal with on the plane and I wasn't nervous about my son getting tangled in the wire and essentially pulling the Ipad to the ground. There is a volume control, which is reassuring since I was worried about him turning up the volume too loud without me knowing. The price point is perfect as this is a quality product, very durable, good battery life and well crafted. I've purchased several other headphones before since we travel quite a bit and this one is by far the best! My son wears them at home and walks around the house using the wireless feature, while his dinosaur movies are playing on the Ipad. An added bonus is that these headphones fit adults too so my husband and son are constantly taking turns using them. Great product and I would highly recommend!!!

Back to being disappointed by the build quality of these headphones
UPDATE 9/12/16 Well, just like the first pair of these headphones, the right earphone no longer plays any sound with the audio cable plugged in. I've tried several audio cables, but the problem is the poor build quality of these headphones. I suggest that you buy some well-made adult headphones (perhaps some smaller-sized on-ears) instead of these. That's what I'm going to do (especially considering that these don't actually limit maximum volume to a safe level anyway). UPDATE 4/29/15 Upon reading my initial review, LilGadgets contacted me and sent a replacement pair of headphones noting that the original pair were defective. Happily, I can now report that my biggest complaint, that only one earphone worked when connected with the audio cable, has been resolved. In addition, they explained the difficulty of selecting an appropriate decibel level given ambient noise in vehicles. I understand the dilemma and I would second another reviewer's idea of adding an "airplane mode" that would allow higher decibel levels only when desired. Also, I want to stress that the overall fit/finish, quality of the foam earpieces, and sound are exceptional for the price point. I still don't like the cheaper feeling plastic or that volume rocker switch, but I can understand the constraints of a small business. I've updated my rating to 4 stars after thoroughly testing the replacement headphones and for the exceptional customer service. ---------- ORIGINAL 2-STAR REVIEW (Very disappointed in these highly rated Children's headphones) I love bluetooth headphones and was excited to get my son a pair to use with a tablet and for movies in the car. Based on the reviews, I thought these from LilGadgets would be perfect. Unfortunately, I had to send them back for the following reasons: First, sound only plays out of the left earphone when the audio cable is used instead of bluetooth. To make sure it wasn't just a cable shorting out, I tried the cable from my Parrot Zik 2.0's, but it made no difference. Second, they don't actually limit volume to a safe level! The instructions say to turn the volume up as loud as possible on the headphones and then limit the volume of the device. However, if there's no way to limit the volume of your device (e.g. tablet), then these headphones can get very loud. This is completely unacceptable given the claims made in the description. Finally, the overall build quality is poor. They fit well and the sound is quite good, but there is one rocker switch/button that controls volume, play/pause, and prev/next track. It's gimmicky and didn't work reliably. Also, the audio cable is cheap and not even 3 feet long, which is less than ideal for watching a movie in a car. Great idea and a nice price point, but I could never recommend these headphones.

Good starter
Great, first little headphones for kindergartners. Easy to use with good sound that’s not too loud. They are lightweight and fairly durable. They fit on my older kids as well so would be appropriate for all elementary. Nice bright color and comes with carrying bag. Lasted the school year and then some. Would buy again.

Awesome Headphones
We had a 16 hour drive ahead of us and finally decided it would be a good time to try the iPad babysitter. I purchased a set of wired headphones, but they didn't fit his head right. I decided to try these for 2 reasons, 1 being wireless and 2 being sized for a childrens head. Well. the wireless part works great. They had no problem connecting via bluetooth to the 1st Gen iPad. The sizing could be a little better, as when adjusted to the smallest setting, they just barely fit my 3 year olds head. Almost to the point where we could have wrapped the headband a few times for more cushion but they did seem to cover his ears. The controls worked well with the iPad movie player (yes I rip my own DVDs and upload them into the Videos folder). The only issue I had was when he discovered the controls, he would frustrate himself with the skip/volume control. See, if you turn the control and let it go, it skips. If you hold the control, it starts adjusting the volume. For a 3 year old.. there is no holding. He would skip around and get mad. If there was some way to lock out the controls, that would make them even better. We got about 10 hours on a charge, which is what they are rated for. Fortunately, it uses the same Micro USB connector as my phone so I was able to just use my phone charger to recharge the headphones. He even fell asleep with them on and he didn't look too uncomfortable with them smashed between his head and the booster seat. I would've liked them to be a little thinner but thats just me. There was a small cosmetic issue with the pair I received, where the headband wasn't tucked into the end cap, but it in no way affected functionality. All in all I am very happy with my decision. EDIT: After 2 months of use I am 200% satisfied with these headphones. Not only are they still working great, but my 3 year old actually prefers to watch his movies with them! From a customer standpoint, LilGadgets gets an A++ from me. Their response to my tiny cosmetic issue has been outstanding. I truly wish most other companies handled things like they do.
