Sturdy, simple, and does exactly what it should. The glass feels thick and well made, the lid fits securely, and the spout pours smoothly without dripping everywhere. It holds a full gallon, so it is great for water, tea, or lemonade, and it handles both hot and cold drinks well. Easy to clean and looks nice on the counter.

Very sturdy and perfect for home or office usage. I like it where it can just boil the water directly. However. Since mine is a 128oz, it is pretty heavy to carry or pour when full. So be careful.

After years of drinking soda I have switched to iced tea. This has brought about a journey to figure out how to inexpensively make tea at home. I started with a smaller glass container and used smaller tea bags. The previous pitcher I tried was a 68 ounce square container (which is 2 Liters equivalent). You'll see it in my reviews. It was a nice size and sturdy but there were some issues. One, the lid wasn't great and the seal stained. Two, it was very heavy. Three, I couldn't add hot water to it. Four, it had a big footprint in the fridge for a smaller size. 2 liters was not enough for a whole day of drinking tea. So I kept looking and found this Aofmee 81 oz glass pitcher. Details: - Pitcher is 81 oz. This is larger than 2 liters. But 60% the size of a gallon or 2.5 quarts. or 2.4 liters I don't know why they settled on 81 oz. for this container, I suspect they let the dimensions decide the size. Just calculate for 10 cups (10 x 8 oz) - Pitcher weights 5.1 pounds EMPTY. This is much lighter than my other one that was smaller. But keep in mind that 81 oz of water weighs over 5.2 pounds. So that means you're at 10 pounds when this is full. That is more than the weight of a full plastic gallon container. Pouring from 10 pounds can be wobbly so probably not good for those that have weak arm or hand strength. - That being said, this container was an improvement over the previous glass one for a few reasons. The glass seemed thinner but it was sturdy. - Handle feels very sturdy when pouring, does not feel like it will break in my hands - The lattice like texture is very nice. It feels nice and looks nice. I prefer it to the smooth alternatives. - It has a wide mouth that is easy to clean - It came with a free bottle scrubby for cleaning it - The lid is excellent. It has a straining opening or a nonstraining opening. It fits in there tight. The plastic gasket does not stain. It does not leak when pouring. It is easy to put on and take off. - Most Important: this glass is made from borosilicate glass. This means you can add hot water up to 300* to it! I couldn't do this with the other plastic pitcher I tried and I can't do it with the plastic pitcher I tried (safely). - It says it can be heated directly on the burner gas stove. I have not tried this. It does not fit into my microwave because of the height. But you can pour boiling (212*F) hot water directly in with no problem. Because of the weight of this pitcher and the fluid weight, I recommend always keeping one hand underneath to help support the weight when pouring. The seller does mention that in transport about 1% may break and so reach out to them if it arrives broken and they will send you a new one. The pitcher is 10.2 inches tall. I will post a picture of it next to my 1 gallon pitcher to show size. Because this pitcher was not 1 GALLON, I was wasting tea bags since I found the 1 gallon Lipton tea bags are great. If you use smaller tea bags, or use this for something else, there's no issue. I think this is the best large glass pitcher out there. It is lightweight but sturdy. Has a great lid. Easy to clean. Easy to pour. Looks beautiful. I still use this pitcher to brew my tea with my big tea bags, but then I transfer it to a gallon plastic pitcher and add water. I believe a 1 gallon glass pitcher is prohibitively heavy for most people so that is why I added in the plastic pitcher for my sweet tea journey. There are reviews of this cracking when hit on surfaces. It is glass, so that is to be expected. This is sturdy and strong and can handle boiling water but at the end of the day it is still made of GLASS. It isn't for kids or those that are rough with things. I am really pleased with it and would have been perfectly happy with it forever except that I needed a larger size for my tea bag brew since the large tea bag made 1 gallon. But if you use individual tea bags this would be perfect as long as you can handle the weight and caution that comes with glass. It is by far the prettiest of the pitchers I have. You could put it on the table with ice water or lemonade and it would be impressive.

As I get older I get a little wiser. I've come to the conclusion that heating hot tea in a plastic picture probably isn't the best thing. When I was a kid growing up and grandparents always had glasses. My parents tended to gravitate towards plastic and now we understand that plastic can sometimes put particles in your foods or your drinks that obviously is not healthy. So I started seeking out a glass picture I could use for my iced tea. This one takes hot and cold. I'm not bold enough to boil water inside of this thing. I just pour hot water into it. Obviously you don't want to go drastically from hot to cold as that could potentially cause the glass to shatter but they say 0 to 300° and I believe it. The glass is about an 1/8 thick. Which is about what I expected. Overall the quality of the pitcher is good. I don't pour it with the lid on. Although you can pour with the lid on. I think pulling with the lid on might be more helpful if you were to throw say a strawberry lemon or orange or a piece of fruit into a pitcher of water for extra flavor. I think my only concern for this particular pitcher, is the handle. The handle is also glass. It is a little bit thicker about a quarter of an inch that I just worry that the glass handle may break. If I could give it four and a half stars I woud but it's not quite five stars. To be five stars, the handle that need to be a lot more durable.

So far I haven't broke this thing yet! Lol - I am a sweet tea junky and have been using a plastic pitchers for generations. I am real picky about my sweet tea and noticed that the plastic pitchers tend to grow mold easily even when you clean them after every pitcher full. The glass pitcher is fantastic! Almost forgot what really good tea is supposed to taste like. No mold growth and very easy to clean. It is pretty heavy when full but just have to use other hand to help pick it up. I am pretty clumsy with everything so I know sooner or later I will probably break this but its looks great and makes my tea taste so much better; I will buy another one. It is true to size and hold just over a gallon. The top seals nicely. Strongly recommend!

This is a nice pitcher. I have used ti now for two different gatherings and received complements at both. Much nicer that any plastic pitchers and more sturdy than many other glass ones. I am very pleased.

looks great with any beverage. great value. HAND WASH ONLY was NOT a problem! 1/2 gallon size is perfect for tea/powdered milk/lemonade, ect. Lid provides great seal against drips while pouring and seals nicely to prevent picikng up fridge odors

This pitcher is high quality and I like the volume marks on the side. Works great for mixing drinks, tea etc.

La caraffa è davvero molto bella. Oltre al fatto che si può far scaldare direttamente sul piano cottura, è esteticamente bella e fa bene il suo lavoro. Il tappo ha due uscite per il liquido: una normale ed una filtrante che ho provato con il tè in foglie e che ha filtrato tutto! È molto capiente, 2 litri; sono segnati i "ml" per misurare la quantità di liquido e l'accessorio per pulire risulta utile. Oltretutto il prezzo è contenuto per una caraffa così capiente. Il pacco è arrivato integro, molto ben confezionato e protetto.

Es una jarra genial, no esta fabricada con un cristal muy grueso pero no te da la sensación de que vaya a romperse en la mano ni nada de eso. La tapadera tiene una abertura para que salga el agua de forma normal, y una parte perforada que sirve de filtro cuando sirves té o cualquier infusión o zumo que tiene hojas, pulpa o lo que sea. Muy fácil de limpiar (viene con su esponjita y todo) y muy chula. Supercontento.

Très jolie carafe en verre au design très chic qui nous sert pour l'eau avec un bec verseur très utile et le couvercle hermétique en inox possédant deux ouvertures dont une normale et l'autre filtrante pour contrôler le débit et si on fait de la sangria ou du thé.
