Exact replacement for my APEC ROES PH75
This Hydronix 10 inch housing turned out to be a perfect match for my APEC ROES PH75 system. The fit, finish, and threading are identical to the original APEC Type B o-ring housings, which made the swap straightforward once everything was disassembled. They are the SAME length as the original. Identical fit to APEC ROES PH75 The housing matches my original APEC units exactly, including the o ring style and cap design. Despite what some reviews suggest, this Hydronix model is the same as the APEC HW 10 housings. Straightforward installation process To replace the housing, I removed the broken lower housing first and dumped the water (to lighten) and removed the filter cartridge (my leak was with the paper (Stage 1) filter). Then, I removed the top filters to expose the metal screws. Using a drill with PH2 bit (phillips), I zipped off all the screws and removed the metal top. The Stage 1 cap just unscrews from the middle one, making it easy to separate the old unit. Use of teflon tape for leak prevention I wrapped the threads with teflon tape before reassembly, and everything sealed tightly with no leaks. Transfer of elbow valve required You do need to remove the elbow valve from the old cap and thread it into the new one. The plastic threads on both the valve and the cap are soft, so it is important to take your time and avoid cross threading. Reliable build quality Once installed, the housing feels solid and performs exactly like the original. Water flow and pressure remain consistent, and the system operates as expected with zero leaks. Final Thoughts This Hydronix housing earns five stars for being a true one to one replacement for my APEC ROES PH75 system. The installation is simple if you take care with the plastic threads, and the compatibility is perfect.

Exact replacement for APEC ROES-50
I replaced all the housings from my APEC ROES-50, they were all cracked in the lid above the fitting hole. I had my APEC for almost 4 years. My water pressure is high, so I also installed a shok blok pessure reducer on the plastic tubing. These are very heavy duty and the holes on the lid line up perfectly with the apec metal bracket. All apec wrenches work. The price was good. They come with O rings. I reused the connectors.

Where the OEM product will fail.
The 4* is for the design, the product you’re buying is 5*. I’ve found about every 5-6 years, the manifold at the top will develop a leak, that manifests itself as a repeated drip that you may troubleshoot multiple different components to isolate. The top manifold appears to actually be 2 pieces of plastic that are molded together, forming an almost imperceptible seam. That seam, whether from the hot/cold temperatures of being mounted in my garage, or a manufacturer error, will slowly crack, forming a leak. I replaced one, and then 2 months later found another doing the same thing, so just replaced the last 2. The 3rd one, once removed, was also cracking but hadn’t started to leak. The photos are of a new system installed Summer 2019, and failed Summer of 2025. Just hoping to help someone in the future. Would still buy the system as a whole again.

Fits well n Affordable!
This is compatible with my 10" apec water filter. This is the 2nd housing that I have replaced. The other housing was a bit short but it worked. This one is a perfect size and works great. Fits well and super affordable. No leaks as of now. (1 month in) easy to install and looks exactly the same as the oem. Let's see how long it would last.

It looked the same as my filters housing on my osmosis filter system, but they are a little smaller on the thread size. I wanted to replace only the broken housing, but it did not screw in. I ordered 2 more and replaced all the 3 heads, and they fit perfectly with the existing screws on the metal plate, the heads are the same size, only the thread are smaller. It is a little more job, but now they are all new for a fraction of the cost.
