Tabakh Stainless Steel 5-Rack Idli Stand, Medium, Silver

I made the mistake of buying an idli pot for $20 that included an idli maker. The pot had a whistle that when it came up to steam screamed continuously for the whole process (12+minutes of hell) and the stand itself was so cheap and tinny with a plastic lifting top that split and the nut that holds the whole thing together kept coming undone. After some trial and error of ordering several idli makers, that were either too big, too small or just plain junk, I found this one, solid with a good lifting button on top and it fits my 6qt instant pot perfectly so no more screaming whistle. My son loves idlis and it's used daily, so far so good, excellent results and decent sized idlis. very happy with this purchase

Good product as advertised!

This product is nice but for me its not fitted in my pots so i have to return that !! But personally I liked it!!

I looked at a lot of different idli pans and picked this one for durability and ease of use. It is sturdy and fits in my instant pot. It comes apart in a logical way, unlike some of the others. It’s super simple to make multiple batches, since you can just unscrew the top and take the pans off even when they’re hot. Very easy to wash too- it’s dishwasher safe but I rarely even put it in the dishwasher since it comes clean by lightly wiping with a sponge.

Be very careful to read the product description thoroughly. The stand was taller than advertised and didn't serve my purpose. The return of unused product still entailed a 2/3 cost for restocking.

For those seeking to cook idlis to perfection in their 6 qt Instapot, I highly recommend this product. Our experiments have shown that utilizing the steam setting for a duration of 16-18 minutes consistently produces exceptional results. The only area for improvement is the plastic knob on top, which we don't use while cooking anyway.

Pretty good. Fit perfectly in my 6 QT Instant pot with enough room at the sides and top. Mine had some black residue out of box on all the plates. Most likely something left over from production which is understandable. No issues after proper clean which everyone should do regardless.

I feel them thin and not good quality. cheap material

Why would you make something that the customer would regret having bought? The material and finish are dreadful. The metal is so poor in quality that the pressing process to give it its shape tore it, as you can see in the photo. I asked to return it for a refund but I just haven’t found the opportunity to do so, given my packed daily routine. That’s why I purchase online in the first place. I feel ashamed to admit I purchased and own one of these.

Good product, fits in 8L vinod pressure cooker

You can get nice idly out of it.

Product quality not good. Steel showed rust.

Very good, medium size Idlis. Due to cold region my batter didn't ferment well or else idlis could have been little more bigger in size.
