The tray less hot swap docks are a big plus. They look great, and they allow much more storage than would fit in a smaller case.05/31/15: After using this case for almost 18 months there are two things worth adding. First, the latch on the hot swap bays are delicate. It does not take much to break it. Replacement latches not sold separately so be careful when opening the hot swap bays. Second, the power-on switch sometimes gets stuck in the down position. To fix it, you have to wiggle the button so it gets out from under the metal ledge formed by the hole through which the button normally portrudes. Overall, I still like the case. It's beautiful.
