Good buy
This done what it was supposed to do and was easy to assemble and pretty heavy duty they give you plenty of rope with it aswell and not super heavy in my opinion it’s a good buy

Great product
I used this hoist to mount a 85” TV by myself. Easy lifting and the brake device didnt slip at all..Worked GREAT!!If you are lifting more than 11' you may need a longer rope.

game hoist
works great...strong steellock system is a little fussy...but works ok...which is helpful to have btw

I'd buy it
1. It works2. Cheap rope is painful, twists and jumps off track3. Game hanger 2 piece foldable design doesn't positive engage or lock together. Hooks aren't aggressive enough in angle or length. So it's kinda fumbly4. Way better than a rope and a 2x4. I've used it for 4 whitetail deer. Used it to unload 1 from truck 1st. I would buy again but I will probably replace rope.

Works well!
My husband loves the hanging gambrel & hoist kit. It worked so well when he got a deer last season and is excited to use it again. It was able to hold almost 160 pounds well.

Not a one piece gamble.
Wish I would have noticed the actual gamble part or the hook part you hang the game on isn’t a solid piece it’s in a three piece section that easily falls apart. But for less than 30$ I guess we can’t complain. Pully part works kinda easily, but the rope is small and gets caught up in the lever easily, keep a stick or something to knock it out of it to raise and lower it. Update, I used it twice this weekend and it being a two piece section doesn’t affect it at all. Really good product for the price

Well built, very packable, easy to use.
Excellent quality metal parts, and it comes with a very handy brake that holds the rope without tying any knots. The rope is OK, but I would recommend replacing it with climbing rope that doesn't generate any torque; it will last longer, and it will be easier to use with heavier stuff like red stags. That said, very satisfied with it overall, and I've already used it twice. It is a game-changer, and I would definitely recommend it for use in a larder or the forest (it packs down really well).

Worked great to get the deer up
Worked well lifting the deer and held well no problem. It was getting it down was the issue. There is a "brake" for the rope so it holds the weight but with any weight on the rope we couldnt get the rope to let go and come down. Maybe im not doing something right... we had to remove the weight that was left to get the brake to let go, was a real pain. Ill probably cut that off and just tie the rope to something instead
