Best boar bristle brush I've purchased. The brush handle itself is fairly short but it isn't a problem when you're only using it for styling. The very stiff side is GREAT especially for slicking back both curly, and straight type hair. The standard boar bristle side is still very good for smoothing.

Purchased for my significant other some time ago, who has short waves. It works well for him and has been durable over several months. The softer bristles are a little too soft, so they don't really get used, but it's nice to have the options. The handle is a little short, also, but not short enough to where it's really obstructive or difficult to grip - just a little awkward for larger hands. The side with thicker/hard bristles has a good thickness to it. It starts off a little tough, but softens over time. I have longer wavy hair and sometimes make use of the side with thicker bristles, also. Overall, this was a good buy for our purposes at a good price.

These brush is heaven Sent! It leaves my husband's beard so shiny like he just left the barbershop. Even with his stubborn hairs and difficult grays with a different texture it works really well.

When it first got it, I thought the handle was a little short but I find that I hold it by the body of the brush. I really like the boars hair bristles. Overall happy with purchase and would recommend

The soft side of the brush is on the harderside so the harder side is whoooo!! Compared to my last double sided brush. None the less a good brush needles to say the hard side is not getting used. Hopefully over time the brush will soften with use.

I bought this for my husband and he absolutely loves it. He gets a good refreshing massage straight to the scalp while brushing his hair. The bristles are strong hold shape well. The double sided feature also allows him to use it for his beard as well. He'll sit there combing through his beard for about 5 minutes because it feels good.

I got this brush for my beard. It works perfectly beautifully designed great craftsmanship, and I love the wood grain.

When I got this brush, I wasn't really thinking much as to the quality of it as I really just needed something for my hair. When it arrived, it BLEW my mind. The hardness of the bristles on both side are just the perfect degree. I love it so much, it has been added to my list of possible gifts for those I gift.

My rescue pup sheds a lot but hates being brushed. I've bought and returned 7 different brushes over the past year, and finally, out of desperation, I decided to try this one. The handle isn't very comfortable to hold, but the stiffer bristles on one side are perfect. Strong enough they actually pull the loose hair out, but soft enough to be gentle on her sensitive skin. I also use the soft bristle side on her stomach and throat and she loves it! It's been such a struggle to brush her, but this is the first brush where, when she sees me take it out, she actually comes TO me rather than run and hide somewhere. Seriously, this brush is awesome. I am so happy I took the chance and ordered it. The only tiny flaw is I don't find the handle very comfortable to hold. If it was a bit rounder, I think it would be better.
