Great hellmans mayonaise!

I find that this "light" mayo tastes as good as the full fat version, so you get the benefit of a healthier product without compromising on taste. The only frustration is that it's difficult to get the last amount of it out of the bottle, but then that's the same with the glass bottles.

We all know that Hellmann's is the original & best Mayo on the market. If you didn't know, well now you do. Ever since the events of 2020 and following years I have been more in favour of ordering items in bulk. It is a great peace of mind to have lots of an item you know you will use and not worry about running out anytime soon. I've received these 8 bottles in January 2024 and they are all dated October 2024 so it gives me over a month per bottle to consume, and of course I no longer have to shop for Mayo for the rest of the majority of the year! As far as being the "Light" variety goes, I personally cannot taste much of a difference either way, but this variety being a bit healthier is certainly a bonus. Regardless I find this Mayo and all Hellmann's Mayo's to be a welcome addition to foods when & where wanted. Now, the squeezy bottles I confess I'm not 100% keen on. I generally prefer the glass bottles but hey - I'm not going to knock a star off of the review because I'm not so keen on the squeezy bottles. I still ordered these and I knew what I was getting. So dear reader, if someone knows what they are getting (including an aspect they are not too keen on), orders it and gets what they knew they were going to get - who is to blame if they are not 100% sastisfied? Is it the orderer or the manufacturer? I'll take it on the chin, it's my own fault not the manufacturer's and that's why I'm giving 5 instead of knocking one off for 4.

I use this regularly so was thrilled to receive 8 x 580ml of them. I made a joke saying that I will have to use mayonnaise on everything having so many of them but I'm sure I will use these by the sell by date. For anyone who has not used the light mayonnaise, I can say off my personal experience, having tried this and the normal mayo, there really isn't that much of a difference in taste, for me, they taste the same, others who have tried it have said there is hardly a difference. You currently get 8 of these for £28.00, which is about the current price in local shopping stores if you were to buy indivually, as Sainsburys are currently selling these for £3.50 per bottle of 580ml, so you are not saving any money buying them in bulk currently in my opinion, they have over five months until the sell by date runs out, are you going to eat over 8 sets of 580ml by then, it depends on how much you use and enjoy mayonnaise. From a personal point of view, I enjoy the taste, the ease of using the dispenser instead of the glass jar style and having to scoop out with cutlery. It offers a more convenient design but I also appreciate not having to buy it regularly over the next few months, so it is just kept in a cool place and will be used when necessary.

Fantastic item. It has the full flavour of the Real Mayonnaise but with less than 65% reduced fat. You receive 8 x 580 ml easy-to-use squeeze bottles, and the cost per item is £3.50. It would be a great deal, but currently there is a huge reduction on this item in our local supermarket, where I can buy the same product for £2.50/bottle. I also checked other shops and I found that the price for the 750 ml bottle is the same almost everywhere, £3.90. As my husband enthusiastically looks out for his health, and only eats products that are good for his cholesterol, we tend to get the “light” version of everything. We use this brand all the time, every day for various foods, such as sandwiches, pasta, jacket potato, salad dressing, dips etc. Everyone in our family loves the delicious taste. In small portions they can be part of your healthy diet, and the light mayonnaise contains less fat and calories than the Real mayonnaise. I highly recommend it to others. Luckily, we have plenty of time until their expiry date, which is in October, so 10 more months to go! Great product!

Excellent flavour but not value for money

It’s tasty with reasonably low calories. I like that it is egg based and not veg based with too many chemicals and oil. Light on the stomach too.

It's very Bland and have an off taste and too expensive for the size.
