I got this to use as a small bumper mounted box on my travel trailer. I wasn’t expecting much given the price point, but was pleasantly surprised. The quality, finish and coating was way better than comparable truck tool boxes that I was looking at. Super durable, attractive and strong yet lightweight. On these points it’s a winner, but the affordable price seals it. The only thing I didn’t like was the locking latch- anytime you want to simply secure the lid shut, it necessarily locks every time. The key blanks are also unusual or proprietary, which makes getting copies a challenge, but my local locksmith was able to handle it. These are minor issues that are really my personal annoyance with the box, but overall it’s a great box at a great price.

This battery box worked perfect to put my (2) 100AH batteries in. It mounted up perfectly outside my RV.

I’ll use this as a trailer tongue box. Overall this is a nice box for the price point. It will work well for me because of the size and light weight Some of the other reviews about poor quality seem exaggerated. The latch is adjustable and works fine and the lid fits well as either of my UWS truck boxes. It’s definitely not a “strongbox” or a safe, but the lock seems as good as any truck tool box I’ve seen. It will keep honest people away from your tools. It came vary well packed with cardboard and steel corner protectors. It did get a small ding in handling, but the shipping box was gouged as well. Nothing I can’t live with. Since I’m mounting to a trailer, I won’t use the handles. They are pop-riveted and could use washers to back up the rivet. it has nice welds and finish and will work well only aluminum trailer.

great 30" box. I am a mechanic and I own one of those black mac carts. you know the cart that comes with a lid but no one ever has the lid. Hard plactic black mac cart. I dont think they sell them anymore. Anyway I got tired of rolling my cart and my tool cart over to my work area (bay). this chest fits and opens perfectly under that cart. drilled some holes and secured with 4 corner bolts. I have my impacts (air and electric) , small sledge , prybars, lifting chains, long matco 1/2 drive ratchet. come along , oil drains and pieces of wood for leverage . I love this box. I bought a second today for the house. I hate having to bring my milwaukee tools inside whenever I take a break while I work on my car outside. In the end its a good storage box. its fits under a mac tools cart perfectly. measure before you buy you wont be disappointed.

Super nice design, nice color, thick walls, locks great! Overall, great price for the money. I was sure it would arrive dented, but it was packaged very well. Holds all of my drills and battery systems.

This box is of better quality than I expected, especially for the price. It arrived in perfect condition. The welds all look good, and the lid works well. The lock seems decent. It is not a high security box. I am sure it could be pried open with a decent sized pry bar. I mounted it on the front of my aluminum trailer. I just needed a box big enough for a jack, lug wrench, and tie down straps. This is plenty big enough for my needs. I did run a bead of silicone around the handles on the inside. And I plan to pick up some weatherstripping to put on the top of the box, or maybe on the underside of the lid. I am quite satisfied overall.

Stury box, perfect for trailer tongue install. Biggest fault is the stupid latch, which requires the key to open or close. Ultimately, I returned the box because of this. If it could have been made to operate without the key, I would have kept it. I do not need this to lock, only latch to keep the lid closed. Locks will corrode and jamb up in my application

please keep in mind, this is NOT a truck bed tool box. this is a metal storage box with handles that you can use anywhere, inside your truck, RV, house, storage place, not a tool box that you hang on the bed of your truck. pay attention to the description, about 10 inch hight, 30 inch length, and about 13 inch wide. just a box. I use a truck bed electric retractable bed tonneau cover and it fits right under perfectly. I looked at the description specifically for the size, so I knew what I was getting. my only concern was to be able to get it in 42-45 inch length. that could fit the bed from side to side, but was not available in that size, so 30 inch should do the job as well. this message is for the manufacturer; If you can make this same measurements but in 45 inch lengthwise (10 in H,13 in W, 45 in L), I would definitely buy another one my eyes closed. :) good product, super very light weight, fits all my towing and lifting tools without using to much space under the cover canister in the truck bed..
