Minions! Worked great with marshmallows - Helpful Hints
I found a Minion marshmallow recipe I wanted to try and the yellow candy melts turned out to be the perfect color. They did arrived melted but it was a hot day and that is what they are supposed to do. It was easy to return the melted solid glob that arrived in to a workable dipping coating. I melted them in an electric chocolate fondue pot on the high setting then turned to the low setting once the candy melts were fully melted. As a special note, if the melts are too thick or clumpy you can add a very small amount of coconut oil bit by bit until you have the right smooth consistency. I probably used about 3 teaspoons for the entire bag. I also kept some of the melts on the side so if I added to much oil I could thicken it up by adding more melts. The dipped marshmallows were completely dry to the touch within an hour and I had enough product to cover 14 super jumbo marshmallows. I used smarties for the eyes (stuck them on right after dipping) and black color gel for the details that I added after the marshmallows were dry. Blue frosting attached the minions to brownie cup bases. They were a hit!

Product is great
I love this brand and will stick to it. I love the ease of use of the product, I love the taste and I love the colors. The only complaints that I have are not with the product itself. For one I purchased several bags of melts in several colors and they all arrived melted together into a big solid clump. Not a big deal as I was going to melt them anyway but it slowed the process down as I had to break the clump down into portions that I needed. Also I ended up finding the melts in my local Wal-mart (chain discount store) and Michaels (craft supply store) for ALOT cheaper. Purchased on Amazon for $7 a bag and both other stores had them for $2 a bag. Product is great, I'll just be purchasing them locally from now on.

Waste of money ....... Melting issues
I bought this for my kids birthday and had plans to make LEGO man pops. I split package into 2 since I had read reviews about issues during melting. I was cautious and followed the directions and to my dismay both the batches were disaster. They don’t melt, consistency stays think and granular, even added bit butter to smoothen it out but no luck. Both the batches were burnt but would not melt. It is frustrating to have to go through this after following exact steps. Total waste of money, could not use at all and worst is, on the day of birthday whole plan fell apart and had to disappoint my kids. I wish I could give zero stars. Save yourself a favor and save money. Do not buy this product.

Not for drizzling
They are delish, but still quite thick after melting, so my plans to drizzle them on top of some treats didn’t quite work out.

Great but pale color
I used these together with some Wilton candies I had bought to make these little party favor marshmallow pops for my sons birthday party. The color difference is pretty obvious between the Wilton and these off brand. But the kids didn't care, and the taste was the same. They melted just like Wilton. Good quality other than the light pigment.

I had been using normal chocolate for my cake pops before watching a YouTube tutorial suggesting these. These need to be melted very slowly and stirred every 30 seconds to stop them burning. These don't go as runny as normal chocolate so they create quite a thick shell around the cake ball. They set really quickly and really hard so you get a crunchy outside to complement the soft cakey inside. Which I'm told is the intended result for cake pops. I have to say that these don't go nearly as far as normal chocolate so they can work out quite expensive. I'm not sure that I could afford to get these again as I always make my cake pops in big batches.
