Pleased with this purchase
This is a great rope. The weight is primarily in the rope as opposed to the handles which is a good thing. The bearings are somewhat stiff compared to other ropes I have used. This requires more muscle activation in the shoulders, chest and back to maintain momentum. Awesome product.

Elite Jump Rope Review – 5 Stars 🙌
The Elite jump rope is top-notch in quality. It’s slightly heavier than I expected, which I actually like. The product description lists it at 1.3 pounds, but my scale measured it closer to 1.5 pounds. Honestly, it feels like a solid 2 pounds when in use—and that extra weight gives it a great workout feel. I love the thickness, durability, and overall build of the rope. It feels like it’s made to last and gives a serious burn when you’re training. No complaints here—definitely a 5-star product in my book.

Muay thai weighted jump rope is amazing
This rope by far is an excellent choice if you're looking for a challenge. Not only will you build muscle but you're also gonna challenge your endurance tremendously. When I first purchased this rope, I could only do sets of 100-150 taps. Now I'm doing rounds easily {3,4,5} whatever

Watch your toes
Love these ropes, I alternate between the speed rope and these heavy ropes. The first few days of using these you'll probably miss the timing of a jump if you use other ropes and whip the heavy rope on your toes, which is pain I've never felt before, but I've never messed up again after that. It definitely reinforces you not to mess up and feel that pain again. You can use shoes to avoid the the pvc to the toes but whats the fun in that? It's also made really well and sturdy to last you a long time. The ball bearings work great as well and feel really good in hand and while in use. Couldn't think of something negative to say about them. 5/5 Love the conditioning these heavy rope give. Great Quality.

This rope is a beast
I like this product and enjoy using it. This rope is like a heavy duty power cord with big solid handles and gives you a serious workout. I liken the comparison with a normal rope and this one to the difference between running on flat ground and running uphill. Maybe Shaq used this rope in his prime. The drawbacks are that it's not adjustable so make sure to choose the closest to the right size for you. Also even though I boiled it for some time (not the handles of c ourse) and never coil it, it has an annoying kink which is not a problem once you get going.

Nice weight
Nice weighted jump rope; however, these are incredibly thick and have a nice weight to them. Keep that in mind while purchasing these and thinking of how to store them.

How To Adjust the Length of the Muay Thai 2.0 Rope
I bought this May 2022 and I loved how well-made it was. But it was too long for me. I'm just 5'2, and the drag was just too much that it messed with my jump rhythm. At first, I just tied the excess length into knots, but it made the rope very clunky. So the rope didn't get a lot of use because I didn't enjoy using it. Now it's 2026, I'm restarting my workouts, and I've decided to try to resize this permanently. I figured nothing to lose since it's just been sitting on the shelf for 3 years. Adjusting it is difficult but not impossible. You'll need a socket wrench or a ratchet. I didn't have one for the bolt's size so I just used a pair of pliers. You'll also need a marker, cutter, or blade to cut the rope, and some boiling water. Here's how I did it. 1. Unscrewed the bolt at the end of one of the handles. You don't need to unscrew all bolts, just one handle will work. I didn't have the tool for this so I just used a pair of pliers and twisted the bolt while twisting the rope in the opposite direction. 2. Then pull the rope off the other end of the handle. It will pop off along with a metal circle. That's okay. Don't panic, it will pop back in later. 3. Next, you measure your ideal rope length. Mark it as point "A", then add the length of the handle, mark it point "B". The screw is attached to the rope that's why it needs to go all the way into the handle when you assemble it again later. 4. Cut the rope size (ideal length + length of the handle). Move the metal circle to point "A". 5. At this point, you should boil some water and place the tip of the rope (point "B") for a few minutes to soften the rope. It will make reattaching it to the screw much easier. 6. Once it's pliable enough, screw the bolt into the rope to create grooves inside. Then unscrew the bolt again. 7. Now insert the rope back into the handle. Pop the metal circle back into the handle. Push the rope all the way into the handle. You should be able to see the rope on the other end. 8. Next, push the bolt in and push the rope too so that the bolt pushes inside the rope. This will take a bit of effort. You can try to soften the rope again if needed. 9. Once they're attached, you can use the pliers again to twist the bolt. Just like in the beginning, twist the rope in the opposite direction you're turning the bolt. Do this until the bolt is screwed all the way in. Compare it to the other handle to check. That's it. It's not easy, I'm pretty sure I bruised my thumb doing this. But it's worth it. Jumping on this adjusted length feels soooo much better. I can't believe I waited 3 years before fixing it. It only took 30 minutes.

Excellent heavy(ish) jump rope
Great quality product with a very smooth action. I was surprised how easy it was to use compared to a thinner faster rope. I tried this for the first time today and the upper body workout is evident. I am 5'8" and bought the 9ft rope. It seemed a bit long for me so I shortened it by unscrewing the retaining bolt in the handle, pulling out the rope (which also pulled out the inner sealed baring, and then trimming 4 inches off the length. Just do the reverse to reassemble. One tip is to soften the end of the rope by dipping it in boiling water in order to be able to screw the bold back into place.
