Viter Energy Caffeinated Mints 40mg Caffeine, B Vitamins, Sugar Free. (Wintergreen, 20pcs, 6 Pack)

I only like coffee with tons of bad things to disguise the flavor which is not healthy. I like tea but it is not convenient for a busy lifestyle. Throughout my life, I have struggled to find something that works for me for a caffeine boost/energy that is not negative on my health. Whether items had more issues than gain (soda) or short lived gsin and feeling worse after (energy drinks) or seems great at first but within a week to a month it becomes negative (certain supplements) or energy-specific supplements that are bad from the get-go, I have been through them all with some variations multiple times at different times in my life (Note-I am 50), so it's been a while! Finally; I have FOUND THE SOLUTION!!! Viter Energy is not just a game changer, but a true life changer! I have been using Viter Energy for two full and constant years and I can testify they work extremely well and have been free of side effects for me! I like the control you have to take just one, or in extreme situations four! Note that I always stay within the guidelines for safe amounts to take at one time and within a day. The amazing part is you can stay within the guidelines easily. Even at my most dire hour, it's always enough! Incredibly, you don’t build up a tolerance where you need to continually take more for it to be effective. I can have a morning where I feel dead, just a few hours of sleep wondering how I will get up, and take 3 or 4 and am renewed without jitters or issues! On occasion, I may take a little more than needed and may feel like I have had a little too much caffeine but since I have become knowledgeable about the amount that works for me so this is rare. Sometimes one or two is still very effective. Additional important key advantages include portability, convenience, and kick-in time which is quick! I buy the 8oz bags and refill the original tin I bought when I first tried the product. I carry it in my purse for afternoon slump (which I sometimes don’t have as there is no crash from taking Viter Energy) and on occasion, if I will have a late night after working, I will take a few in the early evening. The convenience of grab, take and done! I keep it in my bedside drawer so I can take a few when my alarm goes off...no getting out of bed to make or get coffee. As mentioned, the mints work fast. They are not instant when chewed and swallowed, but within 15 minutes you feel ready! There is no jolt or rush, just feels nice and that you are alert and ready to go, focus on work, or workout! I have tried a few flavors and although I would withstand a bad taste for this benefit there is no need; yet another plus! I highly prefer the chocolate mint. The flavor is nice and the chocolate tames down the mint flavor, making it pleasant without being overwhelming sharp or awful to consume! If you are still reading, I am sure you must be ordering! I know there are more people like me who have struggled to find that LIFE SOLUTION that you don’t have to gag down, is easy and fast to take, fast to work, no negative side effects (neither short not long term), convenient, healthy, and the price is great if you consider what you save on Starbucks or other caffeine sources that are less effective. Love these mints. I spent a couple years trying multiple brands of caffeine gums and mints. Came across these and have been using them consistently for almost a year now. I love how they come in different flavors and a small tin. The tin is the perfect size for every day carry. Plus I love how these don't stain my teeth like coffee or tea. I even started to buy the large refill pack and just refill my tins to be less wasteful. Each mint has only 40mg of caffeine, which is just the right amount for me to stay alert. I can still take 2 or 3 mints if I really need an extra boost. Highly recommend this brand.

I really wanted to like these, as I cannot drink coffee, but do use other caffeine containing products to help with that "afternoon" slump. I have been using timed-release iSatori Energize but it has become just too expensive, so I hoped this would be an alternative. But the taste of the Wintergreen variety was quite bitter. (Years ago, I used to be able to get "Vojo" mints which tasted great and gave a quick source of caffeine that you could carry in your pocket or purse. I had hoped these would be similar.) In fairness, the product does give a jitter-free energy lift from the 40 mg of caffeine, in that regard it does do what one would expect. But the bitter flavor (presumably from the caffeine) permeates and makes it hard to get all the way through the mint. I shared some with my co-worker, who also looks for a sugar-free alternative to the mega-coffee drinks, and she had the same reaction. She chose to swallow hers with water, just to get the caffeine without having to taste it anymore. I really am disappointed.....I was so excited to find this product, but it was just too much of a bitter pill. Maybe some of the other flavors are not as bitter?? I don't know if I would want to spend more $ to find out. UPDATE: The folks (Bryan and Jacob) at Viter Energy are to be commended for good, old fashion customer service. Upon hearing my experience with their Wintergreen flavor, they offered to send me a sample of their other flavors in the hopes that I would find one I would like. I did. The Chocolate Mint does not have the bitter undertone that the wintergreen has and the energy boost is good. The Cinnamon is very strong, but also not bitter. The Peppermint and Spearmint are strong mint flavors, with a bit of that bitter undertone, so some people may like them, but just not for me. My co-worker and I have decided that our "afternoon slump" solution will be our Viter Energy Chocolate Mints!

Wintergreen is my favorite. I'm so sorry to see it's not available right now. I ordered the spearmint because heaven forbid I be without these. They are great for travel! But even at home, if you don't want to drink soda and I'm not a coffee drinker they're so handy. When I'm feeling a midday slump or need more energy to go, be social or active, it's just a nice little pick up without a ton of sugar like other options. I looked for ages for something like this for traveling camping, backpacking. They're perfect. I brag on them to everybody. I know. Other travelers are very interested in this product

Worked well as a caffeinated mint, gave a good level of energy so it functioned as intended which is why it’s a three star As far as the two missing stars well it does not function as a mint, I found the taste to be very artificial and made me just want to get a Red Bull instead, which defeated my purpose of trying to use them to quit caffeine. Subjective opinion clearly, some people may like the flavor, some may be able to tolerate it, but I did find the taste and feeling of the mint to be unpleasant.

This is a great product for a small (or large) boost of caffeine. I don't drink coffee or energy drinks, so I normally don't have high levels of caffeine in my system. I like to go on long runs, and I've noticed when I've tried pre-workout powders or chocolates that have added caffeine that I tend to stay more motivated and push myself harder than without the caffeine, which is a good thing because I'm trying to get in better shape and jog a bit faster. I don't really like the taste of the caffeine chocolates I've tried (which were more of a chore than a pleasure to eat pre-workout), and the pre-workout powders I have tried have way too much caffeine as well as a load of other stuff that you might find energy drinks that I don't really need or want. With the Viter Mints, I can adjust the amount for just the right dosage of caffeine (I take 3 mints which is 120 mg caffeine, or about your average cup of coffee) before a run and it keeps me going. They taste really good, and so far so good with giving me a little energy kick. My only small concern with the mints is that they taste really good and look like candy, so if you have small children around, they need to be kept out of sight and out of reach of anyone who might accidentally think they're candy and overdose on caffeine.

I work 12 hour shifts in a factory. My job is fast-paced and high energy. The average day consists of a 12 hour battle between keeping up with packing on the fastest line, staying vigilant for quality issues, reacting to machine problems by rushing to the control panel, and crawling around inside machines for troubleshooting. THESE ENERGY MINTS CHANGED MY LIFE. I used to feel completely dead all day, every day. Now I feel significantly faster, more alert, and more resistant to pain. I even have energy for grocery shopping and the mall after work. I give this product 5/5 for its energy effect. No crash at all. I rate 5/5 for convenience. You're pretty much carrying 10 energy drinks in a small tin that easily fits in your pocket or bag. These mints are very convenient for me because I'm not allowed to have energy drinks out on the production floor. And lastly, I rate 5/5 for flavor/texture. I got the wintergreen flavor and it's perfect. Some people complain about a bitterness, but that only happens if you crunch the small granules as the mint dissolves in your mouth. I'm not bothered by any bitterness anyway. I'm used to chugging coffee and oversteeped tea. I want to thank the amazing people who make this product. You quite possibly saved my job. UPDATE: I plan on ordering more mints soon. My coworkers have been commenting on how much faster and more alert I am and they asked me what I've been taking. I showed them the mints and let them sample a few throughout the day and I think they're hooked.

Although Bryan and Jacob can be 'persistent' with multiple emails requesting feedback, they are very proactive in getting the 'voice of the customer'. Finally, I'm in a position to provide some comments... Having just completed a 3 week trip to Asia (Vietnam, China and Korea) I can attest to the positive results Viter Energy produced. Caffeine impacts everyone's physiology and metabolism differently. I'm not a coffee or soda drinker, nor do I absorb other forms of caffeine except by eating chocolate and an occasional Ice tea. With a +12 hour time difference during my trip, I definitely felt the impact of just one of the viter energy tablets. The mint taste was pleasantly refreshing however at times can be overpowering. They dissolve quickly and easily and the caffeine starts to take affect within 10 minutes of ingesting the tablet. I felt the impact and feeling of alertness lasted for several hours. Use caution if taking too close to bed time as you may need to experiment as to how long your body needs to run through the dosage. For me, a half dose (1 tablet) was perfect for an afternoon energy boost however your requirements may vary based on your size, weight, age and environment. The only bad part was that my colleagues who I was meeting with in Asia also wanted to try Viter and I quickly ran out of my supply. I will be reordering more Viter energy and during my next trip to Asia, will bring some additional packages for my colleagues there. My only suggestion would be to change the dispenser from metal to plastic to create a more air-tight and dryer environment for the tablets. Other than that, this is a great solution for a fast-acting, refreshing tasting, non-coffee caffeine solution.

As others have mentioned, these mints do have a strong and slightly unexpected flavor. I woulnd't describe it as a refreshing mint taste / flavor. The snaplock bag they come in too wouldn't close again once opened. Have had to transfer them all into a separate container.
