Amazing stuff!
I purchased these for my first aid kits. They are wonderful for helping deep wounds drain and heel faster. I stepped on a piece of glass and the alginate was the perfect thing to help me heel.

Good for Cracked Shells
We have a red eared slider turtle that fell and cracked her shell. We have been using this at the advisement of her vet and so far seems to be helping.

Works very fast
The rope is super absorbent. And it helps healing speed up and also feel a lot better..1 night and it looked better with this item.

What a bloody mess
OK, so it worked, but because my right nostril only has very strong flow it took two separate cut plugs to stop the bleeding. And an important note; these rope pads are great, but they do not allow a scab to form, so essentially you're left with a clotted mess and need to be very careful to avoid another nose bleed. I do like that they are very , very absorbent. I cut 1-1.5 inch pieces , fold them over in half and insert as a plug. Works fine. Perhaps if they added the styptic pencil formula to the pad they would be more effective. PS: Worked great for the cut on my pinky finger.
