I opened up the back to look at the circuitry and noticed 2 capacitors failed in such a way that their protective shells came completely off. They were 1000-uF 25-Volt capacitors near the DC output of the circuit. You may be able to replace those capacitors with ones rated for a higher voltage. Although, other components may have failed after the original capacitors quit. **Q: How do you clean the fan ?** A: Mine stopped working after 3 months so I have no idee **Q: How do I post pictures?
