Are these pens smudge proof?

Not to my knowledge. They are very good pen's though, I have used them for about 6 years now, and won't use any other pen's!!

Why does it cost about the same to buy the refills only, as if you were to buy the whole pens? Shouldn't the refills only be cheaper?

These pens are not real expensive, but they are not cheap either. I thought the price was good for 12 pens, and they seem to last. Since my purchase, I have only used up one pen and I write a lot for my college notes and assignments.

Do these have a full cartridge or half? Yes, depending where you buy them, sometimes half ink in a new pen.

Mine are roughly 3cm from filling the entire container. Keep in mind it has that strange clear liquid at the top. The amount from filling the entire ink container from the clear liquid is roughly 1cm maybe a touch more. Also they're only like 3 bucks
