These guys are AMAZING!!!! I have been buying in small bulk (ie: family size) from them for 2 years and I can't believe how much money I've saved. Go get one high end Venus or Gillette in a store and then spend $14.00 on a 3 pack of refills? Review: Great weight, Great Shave, LONG lasting Blades! Buy it... definitely worth it. - Purchased this item on April 20th... and received 2 days later. Have to admit I was skeptical about this product. First off there are two types of blades you can buy for this 'system'. This one has the extra trimmer blade which is exactly what I wanted. I'll start by saying I wasn't able to see the trimmer blade. Don't worry though, it's there. I use it under the nose and around the burns. It's weird not seeing it. Not only the trimmer blade there, but it works well too. You can see by my review history I don't give everything high grades. I'm happy to give a good review to products that meet or go above expectations and negative reviews to those products that deserve them. In this case I am hitting the 5 star button for a product that exceeds expectations. So, here's the deal. On very first use I wasn't impressed. Call it a learning curve or my hairs getting used to it or whatever... I felt like I had to do a couple of extra passes to get a clean shave. Shave 2 and onward - amazing.... Shaves are clean, long lasting and exactly what I'd get from a more expensive razor. I have nothing but praise for the shave quality. This is the important part of the review... I'm the kind of guy who only shaves 2x per week at most. I received the product on or around April 22nd and started using the razor right away. It's June 10th... AND I'M STILL USING THE SAME BLADE! That's right!!! Same blade. One of the best things about this razor is the hairs rinse out of the blades very easily with just decent water pressure. The glide strip is still intact and I have zero nicks or cuts. I even shave against the grain under the chin and on the neck without irritation. I haven't shaved my head with it yet, but I'm even tempted to use the same USED blade to shave my head too. I can't imagine it would hold up nearly as well on a noggin for extended use, but I'll let you know what happens. The other thing about the razor is the weight of the handle. It feels really good. I have used the Gillette Fusion and Proglide Power Razors and this one feels at least as good as the fusion if not better. No nicks or cuts at all. My hair was longer than what I usually have it at for shaving my head, so the razor had more work to do. Shaved my face with the same blade again the next morning with no irritation, cuts etc. Just as good as it has been... Impressively the glide strip is still intact too. Only time it felt uncomfortable is when I needed to clean out the hairs trapped in the blades, which as I mentioned previously rinse out quite easily on this 'Razor System'. **Q: Will these work with Dorco 3 handle?**
A: Per the packaging, "All Dorco Pace and Shai system cartridges are compatible with all Dorco Pace and Shai system handles."  I can confirm that the Shai 6 cartridges my girlfriend use fit on my Pace 6 handle.

**Q: Where are these Dorco cartridges made?**
A: If you want USA-made cartridges, then Personna is the razor you can look at. Also on Amazon. Their cartridges are made in Connecticut. The Personna M5 Magnum is a very good razor, and those blades are excellent. Search for Personna M5  Magnum on Amazon. They also have a trimmer.

**Q: how many shaves to you generally get per blade?**
A: I'm retired, and generally shave every other day.  I have a tough, fast growing beard.  I use one blade for 4 to 6 weeks before it becomes uncomfortable.  Switched to these when I could no longer get the Wilkinson Swords, which would go 2 to 3 weeks.  These Dorco Pace 6 Plus blades last longer and give a more comfortable shave.  I use the handy trimmer to get close under my nose.

**Q: How does the 6  blade version handle and blades compare to Gillette ProGlyde. The blade prices for the ProGlyde are ridiculous. How does this compare?**
A: I just bought this razor exactly a month ago and I am still one the first blade and I still get a smooth cut every time I use Nivea For Men Sensitive Shaving Gel, 7-Ounce Canister and its a great deal. I would say this will last me a year if not long for only $20.99 way better then paying 26.99 for 6 blades for half a year

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DORCO PACE 6 PLUS RAZOR SYSTEM

My background, I have been shaving for 50 years, wow, I'm an old dude. I have used Schick, Gillette & other razor brands, very recently including Personna & DorcoUS brands as well as many different types of razors: 1) double blade safety razors. While in the Army, one time I even shaved without the safety handle which I strongly do not recommend. Also while in the Army I was forced to "dry" shave, once again I also strongly do not recommend, as lots of nicks & irritated skin, but this was way better than just the hand held razor blade. Overall I don't reccomend the Army period. People you don't know, try to kill you; 2) I then tried electric shavers, one a triple headed "Norelco" also a "Remington" electric with a "micro shield" & both resulted in skin rash; 3) I used many brands of double edged saftey razors, including, Gillette "Trac II & Sensor 2 blade & they seemed a big improvement; 4) I used Gillette Trac 3 & Trac 3 Turbo for decades, but recently Costco introduced a Gillette Trac 3 "Signature" razor instead of Turbo Trac 3sthat I think is a reduction in quality, lessened quantities & an increase in price. This was the reason I decided to check other razor systems; 5) before this, I had tried two brands of double blade cartridges, then after this a friend told me of Dorco Pace 2 & I also saw Personna 2 bladed razors advertised, so I tried them as Gillete 2 bladed razors were too hard to find & too expensive; 6) after this attempted rip off by Costco, I also tried Dorco Pace 3; 7) next I tried Dorco Pace 4; 8) then I tried Schick Hydro with 5 blades. I did not try Gillette Fusion, 5 blade as they seem too expensive, also I did not try Harry's 5 blade as I felt finding a razor shouldn't be such a hassle; 9) FINALLY I did, however, try these Dorco Pace 6 Plus with a trimming blade & the size of the razor cartridge is humongous which can make it difficult if you shave your upper lip which is not an issue for me, since I sport a moustache. As for how many shaves per cartridge, they seem to last a couple of weeks, for me; 10) I also tried Dorco Pace 7, wow, seven blades! & the only Dorco razor I had yet to try. I was concerned with clogged blades & over priced gimmicks, thus I'd never tried a manual shaver that needs a battery & this was also the reason I kept using the Trac 3s. If you're still reading, you realize my evaluation could have been be skipped over until I typed "finally" in upper case. I wet shave as instructions suggest & as I usually do, except for the Army punishment ordeal & when I used electric razors. After these too numerous razor trials, I think these Dorco Pace 6 Plus razors give the best results for the cost. These 6 blade Dorco also have a trimming blade on the opposite side. These Dorco Pace 6 Plus are the best shaving system I've used regardless of cost. I do a wet shave prep as I haven't had to play Army for 45 years, so no dry shaving in the field & don't think I'll ever be drafted again. I & Dorco advise to not use too much shaving cream or gel after prepping. I also rinse often while shaving. I even clean my razors with a "Water Pic" after use before returning them to their holders. I'm attentive while shaving & go with & then against the 'grain'. I then rinse the area shaved with cool water & lastly apply a soothing cream. I use 1% hydrocortisone & I never get nicks or irritated skin. My shaves are close enough that there's no insultation against cold until stubble returns, so consider yourself warned if you need to expose yourself to cold weather. Disclaimer, I received nothing for this review except discovering a very good razor system that is very good for satisfying, economical shaves.
