Barbie Birthday Princess Doll Gift Set

I purchased Barbie Birthday Princess for my niece's birthday. Birthday Princess Barbie is just beautiful with her pretty birthday gown and a tiara for my niece to wear. She is on par with all the modern Barbies. By that I mean, the hair material is different from 20 years ago and tangles much more easily... but that is just the reality of today's Barbies. That said, she is still beautiful and I'm so excited to give this gift to my little niece.

I bought this for my three year old's birthday as she just loves dolls. My package came right on time and when I opened it I was thrilled to see that this Barbie is even more beautiful than in the picture!! The box has Happy Birthday written across the bottom half which makes a perfect and festive display when opened. The life sized tiara is just right for a small child's head and even though I was worried that it might be cheap and flimsy, it's of good quality. I would absolutely recommend this to thrill any little girl on her birthday!!

My daughter received this Birthday Barbie for her 5th birthday and since then we've been buying them as our go-to gift for birthday girls in the 4 - 7 year-old range. It makes for a wonderful birthday present -- the packaging and concept are great and the doll always elicits oohs and from the birthday girl. Each time we've given one at parties, the birthday Barbie is the first present the birthday girl wants to tear into first, even before unwrapping the rest of her gifts. There is something magical about Barbie sharing the same special day that makes birthday girls giddy with delight. That was definitely the case with my daughter... The doll itself, however, is not that special. Just a regular 'ol Barbie wearing a fancy party dress and pink tiara. There is a matching tiara for the girls, too -- nice touch -- though cheap and flimsy. My daughter was in love with her birthday Barbie and tiara for a few days but then once the party dress and tiara came off, she was relegated to the bottom of the Barbie doll hierarchy. Overall, it's not the best gift for long term enjoyment but it was certainly my daughter's favorite and most memorable gift she received on the day of her birthday. It brought a huge smile to her face and really made the giver (an auntie) feel good. My daughter has a pretty diverse line-up of Barbie dolls and her overwhelming favorite is Pocahontas from the Disney princess collection so she may have loved an ethnic version of the Birthday Princess Barbie even more. Maybe Mattel can consider expanding their line-up of birthday barbies if they continue with the product. I've only seen it with classic blonde haired Barbie. Again, this makes the perfect birthday gift for just about any girl. We've given five of these dolls as birthday presents and its been a hit every single time. I usually budget around $20 for birthday presents and this one comes in a little under and is easy to order on amazon. Arrives quickly, easy to wrap and definitely makes the birthday girl happy.

I was impressed with reviews that this was a beautiful doll. I bought it for my niece'a 5 year old birthday coming up along with an clothes outfit set. She does not have many Barbies yet and I feel sure she will love this one. When I got the doll it was beautiful like the reviews said and I am very pleased to give as a gift.

This was exactly what i was looking for; although I didn't know until I saw it. arrived on time but the packaging was pretty bent up. if you know plastic on barbie boxes you know that once it gets bent up it doesn't ever straighten back out properly and it has creases in it. kinda sucks since this is a birthday present for a little girl and she's gonna have to open a banged up gift.. It arrived in a box that it barely fit in and was wrapped with a single sheet of tissue paper. If I were a collector, this would be unacceptable because the quality of the packaging plays a role in value... I would suggest that the seller put a little more effort into ensuring that the products they're shipping arrive in better condition.. bigger box, more bubble wrap, etc. other than that i'm happy.

I ordered this for my daughter's 5th birthday. The shipping time after the order was placed said it wouldn't be here till after her birthday. I contacted the seller and got a response within minutes. They changed it to priority shipping at no extra cost. It arrived before all her other gifts I ordered off Amazon. Very impressed with the company it ships from. My daughter absolutely loves her birthday Barbie. The tiara included was perfect. She wore it all day. Perfect birthday present for any little girl.

I got this for my granddaughter's third birthday - she like her and plays with some of her other dolls. I liked that it did not have a lot of small pieces and a matching crown for the birthday girl!
