I was debating between these and the ones where it sandwiches the handle from both top and bottom, and I'm very glad I settled on these. As long as your toddler doesn't figure out how to push the handle up to open, you're golden. I honestly think the others where it has top and bottom blocked would be really stressful since you could end up locking yourself in a room. These were very easy to install and they work just perfectly.

Door locks that work! They are easy to install and the design allows for full functionality, even when in the locked position. Safety feature is very durable even after daily use. I ordered two packs the peel adhesive doesn’t damage doors.

Be careful - you can lock yourself out of the room! We got these to put on our grand child's room. All of the handles in our house are lever style, and we figured these would be perfect. I installed them on the inside of the room for both the hallway and bathroom doors - and we tested it while inside. Everything was great. However, what we didn't realize is that both the "inside" and "outside" handles turn together. That means that, when we closed the door, we were locked out of the room because the handles wouldn't turn. Fortunately it's a Jack and Jill bathroom, so we had access to the door. I had to remove the handle from the bathroom to get inside. Fortunately the adhesive didn't have time to cure, so they came off easily with heat from a hair dryer. From what I could tell, they were well made and worked as designed. But be careful and check how your lever handles work to avaoid the same problem.

Works great for keeping my toddler out of the bathroom! Super easy to install and feels sturdy. Just be careful, if the lock is set before you walk in, you might lock yourself in the bathroom! Learned that the hard way 😅

This is great! I had bought a similar one but it didn’t work. This one is perfect. So relieved to be able to stop my toddler from opening doors.

Jan.30.2026 Update, The seller offered a refund for these items so I wanted to add a star for thier customer service. They break easily. They are not very well designed so the arms on some will become detached from the hinge will little to no effort to separate it. Some of the kids ion our school just pull on them and they come apart. I would look for something else.

These are fantastic! Super sturdy and work perfectly. We needed this to stop our son from going into the garage and now I have them our house is extra safe and I love that. Worth every penny

I'm on my third pack of these! Anyone reading this will likely think that means they're rubbish but it's only because my little one has started using brute force to essentially pull them off, and it's not easy to do that either! I bought these on a whim after struggle with the cycle of hazard, baby proof, hazard changes. It ended up being more beneficial to us and our little one, that we just limit his access to rooms with multiple hazards like the kitchen. Now he's past the point of safely having a baby gate up too, we've applied them to every door (he still has open access through the day!) and we shut each room over with these locks at night to stop him roaming and potentially hurting himself! Honestly, we've even had success recommending these to family and friends that have struggled to safety proof where additional support needs are present. They're fantastic, super easy to use, hardwearing (ours only come off when little one has repeatedly put weight directly on the handle so the adhesive in retrospect is fantastic!), they're really easy to use, they keep our little one safe, but they're also easy for adults to break off with pressure from the other side of the door if children learn to use the button catch. Our handles vary in size and design, but with the left or right swing function, and the lock button is a great additional for fiddly fingers that haven't quite got the strength yet! All in all, I've just replaced the first pack (where they broken through mis-use on our side) and ordered an extra pack too keep by just in case! Love these!

The product is very well manufactured. Works too well! So much so that it might be dangerous as you can risk been locked out or in of a door. Hence, it has to be planned very carefully before implementation.
