Oh, how I love this spoon rest. It is truly beautiful and painted perfectly. You can rest two big spoons on it at a time, which helps when cooking a meal, and the curved end keeps handles off the counter, making it easy to pick up the spoons. I've washed this in the dishwasher with no issues. My only issue with this spoon rest is I wish it were a little thicker. It's pretty lightweight for its frame and I'm afraid I'm going to chip it if I barely knock it against something. I know it being a little thicker would make it heavier and I think a bit stronger. I'd love for this to be durable for many years....I'm just afraid I'm going to break it. If I do, I'll come back and update my review. If it chips/breaks easily, I'll let you know. Until then, I do recommend this really beautiful spoon rest.
