## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this from the old stock or the new? It seems the original version was better than the new version. pls advise. Thanks,**
A: I don't know which version this is, but it works well. I used it for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur and was very pleased with it.

**Q: I stand a lot during davening. I dont have the room for a floor shtender. My shul has tables. Is this shtender high enough when put on the table?**
A: I am 6'0 and have very weak eyesight. I use the Artscroll Interlinear sidur because it has the clearest print. I can daven shmone-esre using the shtender on a table, but I would have trouble learning like that if I wanted to learn standing up. I bought two of them, and I set up one of them flat, and then place the second one on top. That places the sefer at my eye level, and it works very well.
When I daven for the omud Rosh Hashono and YK , I use one shtender, which places the machzor at eye level, since the omud is higher than a table.

**Q: The pads under my shtender are wearing out. Where can i purchase replacement? Looking for exact match please**
A: I don't know. M.b. you need to contact the manufacturer.

**Q: Is the book ledge wide enough to hold a heavier, larger sefer, like yom tov davening? Do you find it easy to switch levels? Thanks!**
A: I think it is wide enough, my husband uses it for his Guevara. It is very easy to switch levels and it was a gr8 purchase

    excelent Shtender!

This Shtender is wonderful. I love being able to have my Siddur on an angle when davening or when I am studying with my Chavruta partner. I like how the legs open up and you can make the angle as high or flat as you want. The only real draw back is really small Siddurim may not be best for his. It is well worth the price and I would suggest it to anyone. I also think this would make a great Bar Mitzvah gift!

This is a great quality item. It has been moved around a lot and seems to be holding up like brand new.My only observation (no one should take this as a complaint) is that it could use an extra notch at the very top (or very bottom). I often sit down with the shtender fully upright--which has the siddur leaning back away from me. This is perfect for use while standing, but an extra notch at the top would push the shtender forward making it easier to read from a fully extended shtender while sitting down. This is an observation rather than a complaint because the shtender is made to be lowered while sitting. But that extra notch at the top would allow me to comfortably use the shtender in the upright/raised position while sitting.

Very useful and practical book/siddur stand

This Shtender is wonderful for situations where the synagogue uses tables without any book support. The only down side I encountered was shortly after using it, one of the rubber feet came off and was lost. I repaired the exposed metal part with the all important duct tape. You need to do this. Otherwise, you risk scratching the wood.
