Ammonium lauryl sulfate is the 2nd ingredient in the list?! how can this not strip keratin from my hair?

Do not know how or why it doesn’t strip the keratin. I’ve been using their products for YEARS and my treatments last quite a long time and I wash my hair almost everyday..
