Banana Corn Stripper Slicer

I really like the quickness of cutting a bundle of bananas with this device. Peel all the bananas and then start slicing. Got to make sure you don't accidentally stick your fingers in the last little bit or this will cut it! Otherwise, slicing bananas for the dehydrator is much more faster.

I went to a Açaí place and saw the girl using this contraption so I looked on Amazon of course and found it. I like how quick and easy it was to slice a whole banana.

I’m not sure what I was expecting but this flimsy thing was not it. Every time you press it all the way it gets stuck. Finally realized if you hit it on the counter it will release pretty easily but I’m not sure the blades or my counter could take it. Bought it for my 6 yr old to cut hotdogs with, first time trying he couldn’t get it to cut, I tried but had to press so hard that my hand slipped when I finally got it to go and sliced my finger on the back side of the blades, which don’t need to be sharp anyways. I use the term blades loosely, it’s just cheap, thin pieces of aluminum. I wouldn’t even let my son wash them because I was afraid he would cut himself. It cut through a banana fine, but don’t expect anything harder than that. It couldn’t slice a hotdog, I would assume it would bend and break if I tried to slice a cucumber with the skin.

This makes a nice spiral of banana slices and it doesn't take all day. Pretty for displaying too. I gave it 3 stars on easy to use since the end of the handle can easily pinch your hand which is what happened to me a few times. "Ouch". Otherwise be careful and its still a great deal for the $.

I only received one banana slicer in my order there were to be 2. I tried to make contact concerning this but no response. Buyers beware, I am not sure what is going on here. It is a good slicer. I rated it a 3 because I only received 1 slicer.

When I first got this, I thought it was a little cheaply made. I’ve since decided that I just didn’t know what I was talking about.! cuts the banana slices perfect for me to dehydrate or put in my cereal. It’s actually pretty easy to clean also.

Who would think you need a banana slicer? This works great at cutting quickly and in uniform slices. It is a little tricky making sure you don’t cut yourself because it’s really sharp and that it doesn’t pinch your hand. Not the easiest to clean.

It doesn’t cut very well, kind of cheap. It will cut bananas but don’t expect to cut anything hard with it. Tried to cut strawberries and mushrooms and it got stuck. It’s kind of hard to use and I cut myself. Also it shows two slicers in the picture it only comes with one. I wish I would have bought a better quality more expensive one.

Every person that has used this has cut their hand the first time. It really need a guard in front of the blades

I use this at my shop to slice bananas onto crepes and waffles and it is great. Best to clean and wipe straight after rather than leave any bits to dry. If not, soak it in hot water for abit. Those using this "banana" slicer on other fruit and veg, should really look at the name of it. It is for bananas. It does a great job.

Had one years ago and lost it. Been looking ever since.

It's not good quality I am regret buying this product

Works well, cutter sticks in the closed position on occasion.
