🛵 Elevate Your Ride with KratorBlack Foot Pegs!
Krator Anti-Vibrate Engine Guard Foot Pegs w/ Clamps for Harley Softail Touring. Highly durable product. Easy installation! No additional hardware required. Manufactured in China. Review: Brilliant for the Price - Bought on a whim for a two week, 4400 mile delivery of a rented Suzuki V-Strom from Anchorage to Long Beach and were possibly the BEST 21 bucks spent on the whole trip, once I came up with the Mark III version. See below................. A) the V-Strom must have the factory (or equivalent) crash bars to mount to. Even then, they are NOT designed for the 7/8" tubing of these bars (they fit 1" and 1 1/8" only without modification) so you will need (8) lock washers per peg to allow the mild steel mounting straps to deform and grab the 7/8 O.D. Then they are solid. This was my Mark II mod. B) the resultant angle only allows the small tip on the end to catch the edge of your boot; there is no flat platform to actually REST your arch on like an true highway peg WHATSOEVER, *until* you drill the aluminum and sink a #8 jackscrew to adjust them to a useful angle. This is the Mark III version. Then, and ONLY THEN, are they a proper "highway peg". And they are VERY comfy for my 32" inseam, yielding a completely straight-legged, relaxed posture when desired. Recommended, if you do these mods. Review: Great look and functionality for the price - This is the 2nd set of these pegs that I have installed on my crash bars. First set was chrome on my 2009 Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic and they were awesome. This set is black and installed on my 2010 Fatboy Lo with black crash bars. They work great and are a great add on for a great price. Very happy.

Cheap basic foot rests that work well on my dual sport motorcycle. when I'm on the slab i can stretch out. They can get a little loose at times and not stay in the stowed position, so I re tighten as necessary.

Off to a rough start
The first box I received only had one peg in it. Amazon was great with the exchange and another box arrived, this time with two pegs. Installation is fairly straight forward, but there are a few things to watch. Since the peg screws onto the bolt, it is easy to twist it while riding. This is a pretty big design flaw, but so far some locktite has seemed to fix this. Another issue is that the clamps themselves twist under load. Only fix I have for this is to tighten until it doesn't happen. I'm sure these aren't high quality materials, so we'll see how long they last under intense stress. My last issue is the fitment of the pegs for raising and lowering. One peg came nearly perfect, maybe a little tight, straight from the box. The other peg is very loose and will fall down on its own sometimes. You can tighten a bolt and nut to limit the play, but while it worked well on one peg, it doesn't seem to do anything on the other. I knew that these pegs weren't going to be the best due to their price, but with a little work to remedy some small issues I think they can be a great value. Just don't go into it thinking these will be as good and easy as $200 pegs.

Does NOT FIT 1.25" engine guard!!!
Does NOT fit 1.25" engine guard. I used every tool I have and the only option I was left with was to drill out the hole. I just decided to return them. Ended up just costing me money by scratching up my bars. When you place them on 1.25" bars the clamp is too small and the screw that passes through cannot line up in the holes. The screw rubs up against the bars. I saw a similar review but figured possible operator error.. no, they were very much right.

Easy install and strong
I installed these on my 2012 Super Tenere with 1 inch Touratech bash bars, this is a real basic install and you don't need any specialize tools or skills. They look great and fold easy, with proper slack bolt adjustment there is no rattling and pegs stay folded up when not in use. I did not use any aftermarket mounting bolts , washers or loktite and they have not moved at all. The matt finish is pretty rad also matching the bike perfect. I don't care if they got scratched up a bit during install because they are going to get beat up any way by my boots road trash and trail riding. Happy trails and have fun.

These should be comfy.
Good pegs for the price. Nice clean - not flashy. Mounted great on my DL650 AltRider crash bars as highway/leg stretching pegs. Grade 8.8 mounting bolt. The nyloc nuts on the peg/bracket interface allow tension adjustment to adjust force needed to fold/unfold the pegs. The finish is okay, where the peg folds up it has already started flaking with just a few folds/unfolds while I mounted/adjusted them. I think they're worth the price. There is a plastic insert on the footbed that is removable to expose a few nicely arranged holes instead of the smooth top of the peg. See pics. I would not use these as main pegs as the clamp-on nature will not hold very much weight before they start to rotate.

Foot Pegs are well made but it needs better attachment hardware
Foot Pegs are well made but it needs better attachment hardware. I put them on and they kept turning as I rested my feet sitting on the bike. I made them as tight as I could and all it did was scratched the crash bar and they still moved. I saw a posting where someone had put a cotter pin through to stop them from turning. I think i will look for a different alternative other than having to drill through the crash bar.

just remember to discard the clamp ring you dont need (ie dont use both together). feel sturdy, didnt move even after a couple hours use. blended in nicely with my black crash bars. I put a layer of electrical tape on the bars before installing clamps. Also used blue locktite on all the fasteners.

You have to tighten the pivot bolt enough to squeeze everything together, or live with the pegs rattling. This means the pegs are stiff to fold, which is also the only way you can get the pegs to stay up. There's no spring or detent. I mounted these on my crash bars. I'm very mechanically capable. There's no way to get the clamps tight enough to resist the torque of my feet resting on the pegs.

I bought a much more expensive pair and couldnt get them to tighten enough. These took like 10 minutes to put on the bike and they are perfect
