This is big enough for 2 adults to sit on (not lay on, just maybe sit), but this is not a "large" blanket. One side is soft, but likes to hold on to grass and leaves so those can be a pain to get off. Works for keeping dry on moist grass or the beach, though. Very lightweight and fairly easy to fold back up and store in the trunk.
