Hypafix Dressing Retention Tape: 2" X 11 Yds Each

Hypafix works well as a medical tape for holding dressings in place, etc. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is the only tape that does not irritate my skin whatsoever. There is another popular brand that works well too but irritates skin on certain parts of my body whereas Hypafix does not. I have had open surgical wounds, full thickness skin grafts, etc and rely on Hypafix. I also have problems with adhesive not sticking to me but Hypafix does stick well and does NOT tear my fragile skin when removed. It is very comfortable and flexible, as well as being a good value for the price.

Love this tape. It’s the best. Lightweight, breathable, flexible and best of all it adheres to skin easily and stays in place. The removable backing removes easily and is marked in increments so it can be cut to exact length needed. Will definitely be buying again and definitely recommend.

We learned about this product from a couple that are ICU nurses in Australia while traveling. My wife scraped off a piece of skin about the size of quarter and the standard bandaids were too small to adequately cover the area and they brought a couple of pieces that were large enough to cover the wound and protect it while healing. It stays on thru shower etc - just leave alone and let stay until it comes off on its own in roughly a week. It was a life saver of a first aid solution. Light enough to add to a travel kit, it can be cut to needed length, and doesn't need daily attention while the skin heals. Thanks Mark and Julie!

My Moh's surgeon uses this. It covers wound dressings...really sticks, lifts off easily and does not irritate the skin.

My mom has a large wound are. This tape does a fantastic job of keeping her dressings in place. It sticks to her skin and the abdominal pads. I use adhesive remover wipes to remove the tape. She has sensitive skin and that’s why I don’t try just pulling it off.

This tape was first given to us by the dermatology clinic at UCSF. My husband is very sensitive to all tapes. This is all we use now with no problems!

Hypafix works when other tapes either fail holding or stick in hair follicles. I’m glad I spent the money on the real thing for bandaging needs

This tape is really great. It sticks very well to the skin and is painless when removed. There is lots of it in the box. The tricky part is getting the backing off before use, but well worth any struggle.

This is great tape for holding gauze or pads in place or keeping the edges of hydrocolloid tape from lifting off. It has great adhesion and has yet to irritate my skin, unlike many conventional bandages, even after leaving it on for days. It is not waterproof, but the adhesive doesn't break down once it gets wet, so it keeps sticking. It is very lightweight and flexible, too, so it works anywhere you need it, even on joints.

I have used this medical tape over the past 6 years to affix/hold down gauge on minor wounds (cuts/scrapes) and the tape doesn’t fail. The tape is very flexible, soft and easy to pull off when it has to be changed or removed. Better than any band aid out there, highly recommended. Added plus, it will last a long time because you get 30-33 feet of it.
