Works well with Version 1 controller
Some of the buttons on my dualshock 4 controller did not work. I installed this item replacing the one in the controller and it now works great. Make sure it's the older version of the controller with the lightbar on the back and says ''JDS-011'' on the usb connector board. Also the model number for the contoller is CUH-ZCT1E.

Lasted 5 hours
Worked fine at first, then L2 wouldn't work. Plugged into PC and began to disassemble controller again to discover it showing L2 being held down all the time. Removed the trigger and checked the film. Shows it pressed with nothing touching it. Got another replacement which works (for now, clearly poorly made) and tried to return this one but because it's a market seller I have to pay postage, then ask for it back when the seller receives it. Assuming the seller even responds and tests it. All this over a £3 item.

Make sure you order the correct board for your controller and it will work
Bought a few PS4 controllers off eBay and one of them the "X" button didnt work. I took apart the controller and tried to clean it but still didnt work. Saw they sold these on Amazon, made sure that my controller was the correct type for this specific board, (JDS-001 which was printed right on the batter/dual stick board), and swapped it out in less than 5min. Fixed the controller and everything is working perfectly now.

Jds001 film worked for my og launch controller
I had an original launch ps4 controller which had the d pad issue (left, up, right) buttons did not work. After watching a youtube video I decided to try this film out and it was successfully installed. Workes great so far.

L2 R2 buttons do not work!
Ordered this to replace a ribbon that the D-Pad Down had stopped working on. I have fixed over dozens of DS4's in my lifetime. Swapped this ribbon on two controllers and L2/R2 buttons did not work on either. I messaged the seller and still have yet to get a response. Do not recommend.
