I'm impressed
Great product. Works like magic. DO NOT USE THIS ON CHEAP POLY-RESIN BALLS. IT'S FOR NICE PHENOLIC RESIN BALLS ONLY (Aramith and Brunswick Centennial). I took a set of old Brunswick Centennial balls that hadn't been properly polished for decades, to a glassy shine. Beautiful! I'm very happy with the results on my phenolic resin balls. The cleaner seems to be a gentle polishing abrasive and the restorer seems to be a more aggressive abrasive. I found that these products do not work well on cheap poly-resin balls. After polishng the cheapo 1, 2 and 3 balls, I found that my hands were stained bright orange. It's not washing off. I think I'll be stained for days. The cheap (softer resin) balls couldn't stand up to this polishing agent. The cheap balls didn't polish up to a nice shine either. I'd say, if you have cheapo balls, save your money to buy better balls instead of buying this stuff. But if you have nice phenolic resin balls, definitely get the cleaner. It's great. You won't need the restorer unless your pool balls are in rough shape and even then, it will only speed up your progress, you can probably accomplish the same shine with the cleaner alone, by putting more work into it. The restorer is convenient to have, if you need it though. Some other tips I learned for people who own the automatic electric ball polishing machines: 1. Don't put the restorer solution into a electric polishing machine. It's too aggressive for that and can damage the balls. Use the restorer by hand, when necessary only. 2. Some people dilute the cleaner with 90% rubbing alcohol in a 1:10 ratio and put it in a spray bottle, when they use it with their electric polishing machines. Shake well, spray it on the balls, toss them in the machine.

Buy it
Used this kit on a 23 year old Brunswick Centennial set. Night and day difference between the start and finish. The set looked yellowed at the beginning. Ended up looking very nearly new, if not new, by the end. Use the restorer first, follow up with the cleaner and end with a dry towel. Excellent results and you will not be disappointed.

Best Billiard Ball Cleaner out there
After trying a number of home product attempts, I ordered this cleaner. It was amazing. Still needs some elbow grease, but it cleans billiard balls spotless, and renews their look. Excellent product.

Great Maintenance Cleaner — Not a Miracle Scratch Remover
Used this on my home table balls after several league nights. It removed chalk buildup and light scuffs easily and restored gloss. However, deeper burn marks from hard breaks didn’t disappear completely. That’s expected — this product is designed for routine care, not heavy restoration. Still, it keeps balls looking professional and reduces that dull, dirty appearance that builds up over time.

This one-two combo REALLY works!
We bought a new-to-us pool table off Marketplace and it came with a set of Aramith Premium balls. The whole setup was approximately 10 years old and the "white" parts of balls looked very yellow, cue ball had many scuffs and chalk stains, and all balls had numerous contact spots from hard hits by other balls. Wanted to try to turn back the clock on the ball set, so after a lot of contemplation, bought this cleaner and restorer combo. I did not have high hopes as I figured the yellowing was just a natural part of aging of pure phenolic balls...but this set did the TRICK! [cleaned (L) and uncleaned (R) balls in a pic taken with very warm light]. It took a little bit of time (like 2-3 mins per ball) of just rubbing the fluid against the surface of the ball (wear nitrile/latex gloves!) to get the job done. The white fluid turned pretty yellow as I rubbed it in, indicating it was pulling off that outer layer of "yuck" that had accumulated on the balls. Restorer had a courser "grit" to it, like a polish, and then the cleaner put a real shine on every ball. Only the cue ball still shows a few spots on it after a lot of work - but I bought a new Aramith cue ball with the red dots on it, so no big deal. I actually messed up and did the cleaner first (should have read the directions) and it did the bulk of the work - I suspect that unless you have really old balls, most people could do with just buying the cleaner. Honestly, our balls were looking bad, but I'd say they look brand new again! I spent way too long second-guessing whether to buy this stuff, so if the appearance of your pure phenolic balls is important to you, I highly recommend this set!

Expensive but worth it
This was pretty easy to use once I did it a couple of times. It made my balls like new but they were also in very good condition to begin with. It removed all the chalk marks from the cheap chalk and had them performing as good if not better than when they were new. They are also Aramith brand.

Great product
I’ve tried cleaning cue balls several times over the years, nothing has gotten them really clean. I was able to get the old stains off using this billiard ball care kit. I will recommend this to everyone.

Ein billiges Brillenputztuch geht genauso gut. Viel zu teuer, kaum Erfolg.
