First time taking our grandson out on the boat with us and I needed a life vest for him. I've used products by Airhead before, and I've always had good luck with them so I decided to order this vest. It's US Coast Guard approved, fit him perfectly and we felt that he was very safe while in the boat. The vest has three straps around the upper torso and one that goes under the body, between the legs. This strap is important for younger children as it keeps them from slipping out of the vest should they fall into the water. The best is made of good quality materials and provided plenty of flotation when we allowed him to go in swimming. At less than twenty bucks, being USCG approved and good quality, this vest is a good value. I highly recommend it for those youngsters!

Got these for my twins to go to the lake and it worked great for us. They went in the water and it did flip them over when they fell in on their face. Obviously you still have to watch the kids though. The handle on the top of the neck was also very useful in helping them stand up or stay on their feet. They’re around 22-28 pounds and 1.5 year olds for reference. These are also coast guard certified which I was searching for and it DOES have the tag inside to prove it.

My toddler is on the smaller side at 22 pounds, and the adjustable straps provide a snug, secure fit without being restrictive. She can move her arms freely but there's no way she's slipping out of this jacket. The crotch strap is essential for keeping everything properly positioned. What impressed me most is how well it keeps her in the correct floating position. During our lake trips, she stays face-up effortlessly, even when she's wiggling around or trying to splash. The bright colors make her easy to spot in the water, which is critical for safety. The construction quality is solid - no cheap stitching or flimsy buckles. After a full summer of regular use, washing, and sun exposure, it still looks and functions like new. The foam maintains its buoyancy and shape perfectly. My daughter actually doesn't mind wearing it, which is half the battle with toddlers. The soft materials don't chafe or irritate her skin during longer boat rides. Although it is intended for adults, it does seem a bit on the small side. This was gotten for a guy who is 6'2" and it just seemed "small" but it did fit and it does work and the price was a good selling point but I would definitely do more research before purchasing. Now, if I need another one in a hurry, like this last time I would definitely purchase this again. It is of good quality and the color is nice - no complaints there.

Fit as described, good quality, bright colors for visibility in murky waters where i live (just in case). Apparently it's comfortable because she didn't complain

This life jacket is exactly what we needed. We visited a water park with our 11 month old and were told that the only floaties they allowed to be brought in were coastguard approved infant life jackets, otherwise we would’ve had to rent one. We had no problem bringing this life jacket in and using it. Our baby is 11 months old, is 29in tall and weighs 18.5lb. She didn’t like it on her at first but once we got in the water and she leaned back, she was so relaxed and floated with ease. The head support is like a pillow, keeps the head elevated and kept her ears out of the water. I’d let go of her completely and she’d float with ease. The material is great too, didn’t bother her at all. We appreciate the 3 buckles on the chest, which hold on very sturdily and are easy to tighten/loosen. The buckle that goes between the legs was also sturdy and holds the life jacket down so it doesn’t push up and squish the face. With swim diapers on, she didn’t even notice it there. The life jacket says it works for littles up to 30lb, so we’ve got another year to year and a half to use it. We plan to take it to the beach with us this summer and try having her on a kayak with us just around the shallows. Looking forward to it! Very happy with our purchase!

These fit my 9 and 10 year old boys. I was worried about them being too big for kid sizes and too small for adult sizes, but these did the trick!

It served it's purpose, but my son could only wear it once because it is small and my son is on the larger end of the scale. It would be a great option for people with average size babies!
