Black Diamond Women's Ultra Mountain FL Trekking Pole

These poles served me well during our hiking honeymoon in Sedona, AZ! Very sturdy and the straps and grips were comfortable - both in the warm sun and the chilly shade. The only reason I don't give this a fifth star is that the didn't fold up just a little tighter. Alternatively I wish there were more secure clips to keep the folded pole parts and the two poles together when storing. We tried to save room in our pack by attaching them by the strap to the outside of the pack, but the motion of our hiking would cause them to pop open after only a few yards. I suggest maybe bringing along a length of paracord or short bungees if you buy these.

I really like these poles, and they definitely helped me navigate longer hiking trips with considerably less knee pain. I would rate them 5 stars, but in slightly mucky ground the tip can catch a little and separate the pole. (since these fold up) It doesn't happen all the time and is an easy fix, but for the $$ I'd wish this flaw away.

Awesome poles! I got these for a trip to the UK and Wales that would include lots of long walks on coastal paths and moors. Lightweight and very comfortable to use!They fold and unfold easily, and pack into luggage much more readily than the telescoping type. If only TSA would allow them in carry-on luggage...

My first hike, I didn't realize I needed to pull top of the poles until they snap in place. They kept coming apart and were annoying. I figured it out by my next hike, a 14er, and loved them.

Shopped at a local store to see what I wanted and found these on Amazon for $50 less. Hiked Zion and Bryce and they worked out great. I love that they compact down so small.

Besides the obvious (collapsible) they are really nice, comfortable grip, extend quickly, and are super light. After a full days use my arms are not the least bit tired.
