D'Addario PL010 0.25mm Plain Steel Single String Guitar

This applies to all D'ddario single strings. A handy way to get spares and inbetween gauges, but tend to be expensive to build up a custom set. But, cheaper than buying say 3 different sets.

I thought I would only get 5 strings for this cheap price- which is still amazing- but instead I was given 5 packets, each containing 5 strings. THATS 25 E STRINGS! The amount of times my high e string snaps is no longer a problem! I usually prefer the Elixir strings, however, if you need just a single string that keeps on snapping these D'Addario are brilliant- the sound may not be as good as the Elixir, but they price is so low that you couldn't ask for anything better :)

I’ve no idea about and the guitar but knew I needed to replace a string. Cheap as chips but whether it’s any good, or in tune remains unknown.

How many of us have opened packets of D'Addario XLs just to use the top E?! In my ignorance I didn't realise I could buy single strings on here :D Each string is sealed in a little bag to keep it fresh, just like the full sets of XLs I normally use, so there's no chance of any corrosion - unlike with some other brands...

These strings are great, they sound really good on my Fender acoustic guitar.

Always use them

I've found D'Addario's to be decent strings, at least as good as other makers 'standard' strings but (generally) at a slightly lower price. These .008 gauge were bought for the high G of an electric 12 string. I always have to have spare 8s as they are always the first to break, and they do so with monotonous regularity regardless of brand. Being tuned up 3 semitones is a lot to ask of such a thin string. Tuning the whole guitar down to D and using a capo at the 2nd fret is an option but it alters the sound and feel and it creates wear on the second fret so I live with the breakages.

アコギの３弦をプレーンにしたくて使ってる。 ワウンド弦とは音が変わるけど、チョークしやすいよ。 ワウンドの３弦は芯が細いので、プレーンにすれば切れにくいしね。 20pだけじゃなくて、21p，22pも試してみたい。

Daddario è una garanzia, corde mi cantino,dono quelle che si rompono più spesso e non devi cambiare l'intera muta.
