Is this product vegan & cruelty free?

Hi Stefanie! Lamora products -- all products, including their eye palette, are 100% Vegan & cruelty-free products. And on a more personal note, this brush was the first Lamora product I bought, and I immediately gave up using my former brush, a faithful companion that is still like new after getting it between '83 - '85 ... but due to it's shape, size, and bristle composition, its performance is inferior to my new Lamora foundation brush. I compared the two with mineral/dry makeup, liquid, then pan/stick makeup, and Lamora ran circles around my Ultima II brush; I was so impressed I contacted Lamora right away. When Amazon wrote to ask if I'd like to answer your question, I was happy to. And if I may offer a tip ... if you join their mailing list, you get a variety of *great* coupons, definitely worth the space in anyone's inbox!

Does it arrive with a cap on the bristle part?

There is no cap, but there is a clear tubular shaped piece that it comes with. I keep it around the bristles to help hold the shape.

Will the bristles shed after cleanings?

My brush lasted for 2 years before I decided I needed to replace it. It was still working great. I just felt like 2 years was a long time to keep a makeup brush. I cleaned it regularly, but you can only get the bristles wet. If you use strong soap and get the handle part wet, it will cause the glue to come apart and the bristles will come out.

Will it leave foundation streaky?

No it will not. It blends foundation in really well.

AH-MAZ-ING!!!!***Update***Great Customer service!!!

WOW!!! Beautiful results and super soft but still sturdy enough to stay stiff for stippling. I have never stippled in my life (powder foundation and shadow ONLY) but for a first time user great coverage and just the right size for getting around my nose and eyes. The handle is just the right length and easy to hold onto. I have used it twice and no bristle loss. For the price and quality a MUST HAVE!!! Will definitely recommend and purchase more brushes for my new makeup collection. ***UPDATE*** Had issues with my original brush (all the bristles started falling out after a few months of use and gentle care) contacted Lamora Beauty and they instantly sent me a new brush for my inconvenience. The new brush seems to be of top quality like my others I have and works just as well! Will continue to purchase beauty brushes from Lamora Beauty and recommending even with my hiccup. Great customer service and fast service!!!
