Rebel Ice Cream - Low Carb, Keto - "The Classic" Mixed Case (8 Pints)

This is by far our favorite ice cream. We eat low carb and especially as low sugar as possible. Our local stores stopped carrying Rebel Creamery ice cream, except Kroger, and there it is very sporadic, with little stock and choice in flavors, IF any are even there. We finally made our first order here, got our overall favorite flavor: Mint Chip, and are very happy with the service. Does it cost more here, getting it shipped? Yes. But it is worth it. This is wonderfully delicious ice cream and meets our chosen dietary needs. Other flavors we like are Salted Caramel and Pistachio. But Mint Chip is by far our favorite. We are SO happy to be able to order it now through Amazon!

Tried the Rebel Creamery "The Maverick" case of 8 pints of low carb ice cream. Took a spoon of each to taste them. Left them out for 15 minutes before eating them (as recommended), but I found them even more creamy and better at 30 minutes.. Overall, some were more creamy than others. The ones that were the creamiest were what you might imagine to be a semi-frozen cheesecake consistency. Not bad, but a little different. Others never really got creamy and came out in sort of flakes. They tasted good, but the consistency was not there. Those flavors might have needed a little microwave assistance. (UPDATE: 30 seconds in the microwave is the SECRET! All were fine after that.) The results: Cookies & Cream - super. Great taste. Small chocolate chunks. Salted Caramel - Creamy and good. Maybe a little lighter in caramel than some may want. Black Raspberry - awesome. Robust flavor. Close to regular. Triple Chocolate - I'm a chocolate fan and this was great. Not as creamy as the most creamy flavor but not as flaky as some. Cherry Chip - very good and creamy. The cherry flavor is a bit tart. Coconut Almond Swirl - creamy and good. My wife said it tasted like a mounds bar. (I say, almost). Peanut Butter Fudge -- the one was somewhat flaky and was pretty light in taste. I love PB & Chocolate and I think the Halo Top version is better. Vanilla - The one that needed to be perfect without additional flavors ended up being the most flaky consistency. All tasted good, though. And at 2 net carbs per serving (quarter of a pint), how can you go wrong?

I have allergies to dairy and GF, because of this type of food plan, I did not have to take my allergy pills. The ice cream melts at about the same rate as regular ice cream. It has a good great flavor. The most wonderful thing is this ice cream agrees with the low carb or keto diet. I just bought a case and plan on keeping this in my freezer……

Considerin these r sugar free & lo carb, they’r good! u MUST let them sit @ room temperature for 15-20 min’s. so it’s creamy & smooth, otherwise it’s a crumbly consistency. Not 2 sweet & the actual flavor of most is good tho I did not care 4 a coupl of the flavors, but that’s a matter of personal preference. These ARE expensiv, only bought them cuz my grocery store doesn’t carry them & we’r doin the keto diet. They wer frozen stil despite the time it took 2 ship them. Good dessert 4 the keto diet & those who want good, sugar free ice cream.

It’s not like creamy ice cream but for keto it’s just fine!

Quality and refreshing

This is a great keto friendly ice cream. LOVE IT !! It tastes like ice cream, as filling, it tastes sweet, and the flavors are great. The vanilla and cookies and cream I'm not a fan of, as they have that kind of marshmallow taste to it but chocolate and flavored ones are outstanding. You CANNOT eat this ice cream right out of the freezer. You need to let it thaw for a good 10 minutes before you start otherwise the text texture feels like eating chips of cardboard that slowly thaw/melt in your mouth. If you simply let it thaw for 10 minutes, it feels normal. Also, if you are trying to do some 24 hour fasting, do not use this to break your fast otherwise you'll be running "fast" to the bathroom (not pleasant). But you have to be careful with anything you break your fast with regardless. Slightly pricey but this is pretty much the best ice cream substitute I've come across and does not spike your blood sugar at all.

I have been trying out ALL sorts of keto ice cream, chocolate, sweet treats, but this is my new fave! It tastes closer to real ice cream than any of the others I’ve tried, keto pint comes second, but these flavors are what really get me. I love the cherry chip and cookies and cream! Most keto treats I eat and think “well, okay, I guess this will do to curb my sweet cravings” but THIS ice cream I’m actually excited to eat. Doesn’t taste icey at all to me, I’ve noticed some flavors are creamier than other but still not icey compared to the other keto ice creams I’ve tried. ALSO, for keto dieters, it’s been hard for me to find good sweet treats that are ACTUALLY okay for keto, (as in not using “tapioca” Fiber or maltitol as their main ingredients) and this one checks out! Using erythritol (gi index of 1) and chicory root fiber, this ice cream leaves me feeling like I get to have my treat and feel good about it knowing it’s not messing up my keto progress.
