Q-tips Cotton Swabs, 170 ct

Nice product

I recently tried another brand of cotton swab. Having only ever purchased Q-Tips my entire life, I was not expecting such abysmal results. My only reason for trying another brand was one of pure vanity. I had purchased a new glass jar set for my bathroom with bamboo lids and a bamboo tray. I thought I’d buy some bamboo swabs for one of those jars. But as it turned out, those swabs were smaller in size, not as thick, not at all absorbent, and worst of all, they were not at all soft. I found just one use for them — cleaning under my nails — but even that task was accomplished better using Q-Tips. I’m actually glad I tried this one time. Now I know that the brand my mother raised me on and that I still use to this day is the very best swab out there! Best quality, best price, and it’s thicker, softer, and gentler than any potential competitor.

The main thing I like the most about name-brand Q-tips is that they don't fall apart! I've used cheap knock off "Q-tips" before, and when using them, the cotton tends to become unraveled and useless. This is absolutely not the case with these. These stay strong. The stick part of the product stays straight when using a decent amount of pressure. The cotton stays together while using the tips so you can use it several times in an area. I use these frequently to fix up my makeup. It's also great for cleaning new piercings or wounds with some salt-water.

price was right,,,, need for medicine chest to handle hygiene functions..... Qtip is sturdy, but does have the breakaway feel to it to not impale ear i would say...some bend quicker then other Q tips...

Okay pricing was expected a shaper tip for makeup and cleaning wounds.

Just FYI these are ‘precision tips’ not regular Qtips. The picture shows regular Qtips but I received precision tips.

Q-tips are a staple in my home for a variety of uses. The cotton is soft yet durable, and the sticks are sturdy enough for precision tasks without bending. Whether I’m using them for makeup touch-ups, cleaning hard-to-reach spots, or basic hygiene, they never disappoint. The 170-count pack is a good value and lasts quite a while. Definitely a product I trust and recommend!

I am pleased to find these. Q-tips/Cotton buds are easy to find but I specifically wanted some that did not have a plastic stem. The stems of these are made from tightly-rolled paper. According to the information on the package these can be composted. I do not know if my local council would accept then in my food waste, so I do not throw them there. For personal use these are as good as any cotton-buds that I have used and better than some. I would not use cotton buds for cleaning electronic items or parts of my printer, as they can leave cotton strands which can cause problems. For jobs such as that I use fibre-free cleaning buds specifically designed for that purpose.

They do what they need to do. Great for makeup cleanup but also very useful for cleaning up pet eye boogers, nail polish removal/cleanup and getting into small spaces like window sills for cleaning

I can confirm these work great with iso alcohol to clean retro gaming items, such as the contacts on cartridge games and controllers
