Five Star Scale. I weight most all of my meals. Log and document every portion. The scales are small, accurate, easy to use, and have helped me with my competition prep. Affordable. Easy to clean. Easy to store out of the way.

I was using the scoop and sweep method for flour, but didn't always yield the proper amount. I use this to measure all my baking ingredients. I even use to to measure the risen dough for splitting in to equal parts. Now that I have this scale all my breads, rolls, and pizza dough turn out perfect. I like how easy it is to use. I really like the knob feature instead of flat buttons. All you have to do is place your bowl on it, press the button and you can tare it out. It's a perfect size for home baking, light weight, and the value to dollar makes it worth it. I highly recommend having this in your kitchen to get proper measurements. I have several sets of measuring cups and spoons, it's amazing how far off they are. With this KitchenAid you get accurate measurements from a reputable brand. King Arthur baking website has an excellent and accurate weight conversion chart for almost any ingredient if you are unsure the amount of cups and tsp/tbls to grams for flour and such.

I do love this scale, it looks great, it has all the weight measurements you need (although you should use metric if you can), it has enough space to ensure the display is bright and readable even when larger items are on it, and the price is right for something that has such a quality feel. I do wish that the surface wasn't made out of glass though. Yes, it's easy to wipe clean, but it's glass, and as such it easily scratches and attracts fingerprints. It's not a dealbreaker, and I don't regret buying it (neither will you), but just keep a microfiber cloth nearby.

We use this scale daily for weighing foods and making sourdough. It’s light and easy to use. Kitchenaid makes top quality appliances. I appreciate the four different weight functions as well!

This small device has made a big difference in my baking. Weighing ingredients has helped my cookies turn out the same every time. It is easy to clean, and seems to be accurate as all my baking is coming out perfect. It’s very slim and light so it’s easy to store on top of my bowls. I would say it is a good value (over time,) as it keeps one from using more of an ingredient than needed.

I have purchased several different kitchen scales from Amazon, but there are the scales that I am really happy with. The glass is easy to clean and the display is nice and big, it's very easy to read and they are accurate. There really is nothing to dislike about them, I only wish that I had purchased them sooner
