RCA RC920 Wireless Phone Jack Extension

I bought this a few years ago and works well for the phone connection that my DVR's require. I've had no problems with this unit. This was an expansion for RCA RC926.

Another piece has to be bought to supplement this equipment. Price not worth it. Returned this.

This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. Because of a limited amount of phone jacks I was going crazy with all the gadgets I use. I just plugged it into a regular wall socket and viola instant phone jack. Also very easy to hook up. Excellent product.

This product does not work with my base unit at all, even though they are both the same brand. Sales rep was very courteous and stated that it was a defective unit. However, is RCA quality control bad enough to where they get units that absolutely don't work? Very inconvenient for customers. It also seems to me that they have a huge compatability issue w/ base units and extensions from the Amazon reviews I've read. Do your homework and I would advise that anyone looking for a wireless phone jack save up a little more money and buy a better brand.

The product compatibilty is difficult to determine with existing Wireless Phone Jacks. I thought I read all the specs before I ordered it and I was still unable to use it. Buy at your own risk.

Bought this extension unit primarily for a Directv DVR box in an upstairs room. When originally installing I connected a phone to test it and there was a slight hum/buzz on the line, so I'm not sure how great it would be for actual phone use. The adapter is large/bulky, you would think that with today's technology they could make these things smaller.

I purchased this extension, two of them, to extend my telephone to my garage. I had to add an electrical outlet, but after that, I followed the instructions, and had two phone extensions in my garage.

Purchased to use with the RCA RC 926 for a second extension. Works great if within 30 ft, but very poor sound quality if placed further away.
