Goop is da bomb
Goop is the miracle cure for a lot of repair stuff. If you rough up the surface a bit and clean it well with alcohol, this stuff will stick to almost anything. Be sure to let it cure for 24 hours before putting the Goop under any kind of load. It will set to touch in a shorter time, but it won't handle heavy loads well until it's fully cured. I've used mostly the older stuff, so I'm looking forward to the new version with the improved UV resistance, etc.

Improved Formula
A great improvement! I've been using Goop to make radio-controlled airplanes for years. After 3 years flying in the sun, the old Goop will get hard and brittle and it turns yellow. This new improved Goop II has solved that problem. It works best on porous materials. Goop II Max can be applied to smooth, non-porous materials, but it should not have any oils or grease on it. Another use for Goop is as a thread lock, but you apply it next to the nut & threads, or next to the threads and the surface of the material being fastened. DO NOT apply Goop II Max inside the nut & bolt, or it will be almost permanent. It's better than regular thread lock, because you can pull Goop off with your fingers. Goop has a hard, rubbery texture when it dries, so it's better than epoxy or cyanoacrylate (super glue) on surfaces that experience a lot of vibration, such as cars and trucks. It works great on brick and stonework repairs, pottery, glass, leather, cloth, and most plastics. I've repaired shattered pottery with Goop II Max. And as far as I know, it's waterproof. The only downside to using this glue, is its strong smell, but once it's fully hardened, there is no foul smell. I highly recommend Goop and Goop II for all household gluing needs.

Works well - with proper surface prep!
Cleaning oil, dirt, and other residue prior to application makes a world of difference in adhesion. Regular rubbing alcohol seemed good enough for me (with some rubbing!). Scuffing up the surface makes a big difference as well, as it would for any adhesive, but especially on shoe materials like rubber and leather. My biggest nit is that it slowly hardens in the tube once opened, even with the cap snugly attached, so shelf life seems limited - maybe 6-9 months. I ultimately had to cut up the tube to get at remaining liquidy contents before discarding.

PERFECT
LOVE, LOVE THIS STUFF. You can glue anything and it stays. Easy to use and if you get it on your hands you just sort off roll it off. I put it on the Side panel of my car that I had knocked off and it’s still holding it after a month and I live in AZ where it’s been 115 degrees. I use it on EVERYTHING that I want stuck to something.

Super strong adhesive
I used this to make my own cabinet knobs from rocks I found on the beach. So they’re getting lots of wear and tear. You definitely have to let it cure for at least 24 hours but this is good stuff!!

Works great saved my floaty
I had a small hole at the seam of a 8 person floaty for the lake. I was told by the manufacturer that if at the seam could not be fixed. I used Amazing Goop and looks like it is fixed I pulled it out of the water removed the air put Goop inside the hole and on the outside over the next week applied more over the the hole and extended around the seam each side about 8 inches. I’m so glad it saved my 600 dollar floaty. A update about two weeks after put it back in the water. It’s holding up no leaks we have had it full with people and working wonderfully. This product is amazing! Thank you Goop!
