These glazed apricots are the best I've had in years, and comparable to the fat glazed apricots that I could intermittently get from DiLaurentis. They remind one of the fresh fruit even in deepest winter, with a true but delicate apricot taste and perfect plump texture. As others have noted, they are well-glazed, not dry but also not dripping with syrup ... but I defy you to eat one without getting sticky fingers! As many have asked about the container: they come in a plain clear plastic small tub, of the sort used in delis and markets everywhere. I don't much care for the container, but I suppose the plastic keeps them moist, and the syrup does not drip out in shipping. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fruit, and the price is very reasonable for what they are; glazed whole apricots are simply not available at lower prices, though they are a perfect special-occasion treat. UPDATE: Well after writing this review, I tried a competing product: Australian Glazed Apricots - 1 Pound - We Got Nuts . The Fastachi apricots are much more enjoyable. The other product had the glaze partly crystallized despite coming in a permanently-sealed plastic bag. The several times that I've bought Fastachi, they've always arrived with the glaze a bit syrupy, and no crystallization. Both products do contain large full-flavored apricots, but I prefer the Fastachi glaze which is lighter and more consistent.

I've been looking forever for really good plump and delicious apricots (that actually taste like apricots) and these fit the bill. I'll be buying again.

Don't last long enough! So good, expensive though. Real treat!

The price of these apricots puts them in the category of extravagant, but my mother LOVES them so it's worth it to treat her with something so special once in a while. I'm pretty sure she eats the whole bag in a couple of days. I won't be buying them all that often, but when it's time this is my "go-to" gift for her.

In general I liked them. I had bought them for a family gathering, then it got cancelled so I have LOTS of apricots. I used to get them either from Nordstrom or Marshall Fields. Both of these latter were better than yours because they were sweeter, more glaze, and just better tasting. But in general, they were okay.
